great show but too far away for us - gutted! is this the show that was at uttoxeter last year?

loopylouis - yes, but it has now moved to a permanent date (the early May Bank Holiday Monday) as the previous date was quite often affected by Easter & therefore when moved there was often clashing with other shows.
Unfortunately Uttoxeter is a very difficult venue for set up & they have increased the charges for the actual day of show considerably plus a large charge for the set up day, which makes it financially impossible to run as it is just a greenfield site & all facilities have to be hired in. Despite the best efforts of all concerned with running the show it has made a loss since it moved to Uttoxeter & with the large increases a move had to be made.
Warren Farm is obviously (as with EVERY venue) nearer for some & further for others, although it is only 10 minutes from the motorway network & has excellent going in all weathers (also sadly not a feature of Uttoxeter, which has considerable ground repair penalties too)
Perhaps you may consider a visit in the future, as the show will still have a really worthwhile range of classes & so opportunities to qualify for several societies as well as NCPA POYS all for one journey!

Warren Farm is a very good venue! Even when it is hot there is a cool breeze as it is right next to the coast and even if it has been raining the ground soaks up the water! The ground never gets hard either because of the sandy based underneath the grass plus they have a huge indoor and outdoor arena! They have a brand new 'pavilion' club house which is brilliant! A lot of the northern shows have successfully used Warren Farm before and I think they should consider going back instead of moving right down south! Looking forward to this show!

Slightly intimidated by the schedule lol! We don't really do affiliated showing, but thought we might have a go this year, but it all seems so complicated
