croftfield - split is correct at 143cm for class 94 (for some reason it has always been at this height when two ridden classes, probably left over from when the upper height for NCPA register was 158cm)
I am not absolutely certain, but I made the assumption that the class judges will judge the NCPA Championships

On the timetable it says Ring 6 will start at 8.30 and then the Peasedown is not before 1p.m. In the schedule it says ring 6 will start at 8.00 and classes will follow on. Could you please confirm which is correct. Also who is now judging the Peasedown. Thank you

desmond - timetable is correct Ring 6 will start at 8.30am
Unfortunately I cannot yet confirm who is judging the Peasedown in place of Mrs Hadwen as all the judges seem to be out this weekend (probably judging elsewhere!) but it is likely to be one of the other booked NPS judges.
As soon as we know I will post on here.

Please could you let me know what time you intend to start CHAPS ridden classes - I see that there are no pre entries in previous classes so could you give me a rough idea of a not before time please!? Thank you

ab2555 - cannot really do that as we take entries on the day but there are some entries in the Veteran I/H classes

Minimum 6 stripped is an NPS rule for all classes except LR & FR - however judge may strip all class if they wish & also the 6 stripped do not have to be the top 6

Janet - please could you tell me exactly what the weather will be like tomorrow ( as need to know wether to wear a long or short sleeved shirt) ,and in which direction the wind will be blowing so that we can park the wagon accordingly ( don't like it blowing in the back ) . Also could you confirm/deny the rumour that Sally has changed the soup de jour in the canteen . It was definitely mulagatawny when I pre entered as it was a deciding factor ( Mr Flee loves mulagtawny ).If it has been changed we might still come but not wasting deisel money if it's carrot and corriander . Thanks in anticipation - hope I'm not keeping you from anything important . Flee

flee - the weather will be wonderful - there will be a light breeze off the coast (westerly) full of the health giving benefits of ozone.
Unfortunately I was unable to peruse the menu for tomorrow and so cannot predict the variety of soup for Mr Flee. However I can assure him that the leather sofas are very comfortable & the large flat screen television should be showing other items of interest than just horses (yes folks this bit is true!) should he be too overcome with emotion to watch your continuous success all day.
I am now off to do more important things - sleep!
Good luck to everyone competing tomorrow - and don't forget to wish bigmama happy birthday

Hello! Would have loved to come to this show but it is not to be...however as we are new to showing above local level please could someone explain what the Picton class is please? We have a highland mare who has not won a 1st in ridden classes would she be eligible? Also which other flat ridden and inhand classes could she do please? Am often confused at the title of some classes and what "restricted" refers to!! Sorry to be so dopey!

sophie747 - please telephone the NCPA office at some point (01704 834482) & I will be more than happy to explain any/all the classes to you but it would take far too long to type out all the rules of eligibility for all the classes in all the different societies.
