Try a very slight rear riser pad (or see if more flocking can be added to the back of the saddle) and that might help, or a point strap if you have one - cute pony!

fab, that first picture is gorgeous!!
fanfarefan...funnily enough that has been a hot topic on our yard lately...my son is currently not doing amazing in this department, especially in canter, but working on it.( you can see pics of him in the getting it right post) Someone mentioned the other day they thought it is to do with the saddle styles in fashion at the mo, which give them nothing to learn to sit into. Not sure myself!! viking is right, def one to watch!! So good to see kids jumping and having fun!!!

I used to tell her to let her bum and lower back go a little bit wobbly (so she relaxed) and keep her head up and boobs out lol. Seems to have done the trick for her seat and it takes a lot to shift her out of the saddle now thankfully Thank you all for such lovely comments which i never expected! xx

sorry to high jack this post , but inreply to stumpedmum ,i really do think that the modern saddle doesnt allow a child enough room to move their seat , and i watch a video the other day of some children on their show ponies , and whilst in a walk they looked lovely in the saddle in a trot it was painful to watch as the child came down right over the back of the saddle and putting enormous pressure on the ponies loins , a good old fashioned working hunter saddle is my choice everytime , the showing world has seemed to have gone mad with these flat seated saddles which allow the child to flap in all directions , apologies again for interrupting your post sx

Absolutely lovely, the pair of them.
Wouldn't it be nice to freeze them in time, no worries, no cares, just a lovely kid and a cracking pony?
