So pleased you have found Appy a lovely home Haggis Marmite , at least you dont have to deal with all the Numpties you get when you are trying to sell a pony . I fully understand what you mean about needing to hide for a while though . We have decided to sell our other little shettie as she is five now and needs a job . I have tried to do a bit with her this summer but never seem to have the time to keep it up .

There are times when I think about leaving him but for the vast majority of the time we get on - and I realise I can be difficult to live with at times . LOL. You can move in here, because you always do the washing up and bleach my dish cloths. Lol. Lol. Lol. Brucie would love it

Morning all Hats, sorry to hear about your troubles but TBH from what you have said on here I think it will be for the best in the long run. A relationship should make you happy most of the time. Like LOTI there are times when I could happily swing for my OH (with a baseball bat ) but the majority of the time life is better with him in it. But I don't think yours is. Make sure you get what you should do. You have 3 girls to think of so if you don't want the house make sure it is sold or he buys you out of half of it. Go and see a solicitor for advice on housing and benefits and the financials. Also, after a month or so he is likely to get fed up of washing his own pants and come grovelling back. Make sure at this point you smile serenly and tell him no thank you! Men are like plasters sometimes. You need a short, sharp rip rather than a delayed pulling to ease the pain. You will have to deal with him for the girls sake but thats all. Sagey, I already have that photo Its one the professional photographer took and is already framed and on my living room wall. I love it, it just sums them both up perfectly I think. It looks like they are legging down the centre line at RW but they were just tritty trotty round the young handlers class lol. Had a lovely pony afternoon yesterday in the sunshine. My 2 both have muzzles on again much to their disgust as we've just moved them onto fresh grass. Poor Ros is wounded lol. Stomped straight over the a fence post and tried to scratch it off, then washed it out in the trough to try and wash it off I think. Haggis, I know how you feel sweetie. Its so hard to do the right thing. We sold Dinky (who ended up with Dazys friend for a while) the other year and it was very hard waving her off. Frankie wouldn't have got away with another season on her and we just couldn't justify her staying and it was the right thing to let her go to another family. But when its your pony you are waving goodbye to its like waving one of the family off. Sounds like he has a fab home though and I'm sure you'll hear what he's up to. Big hugs for lukey and HM I'm not sending them for Hats as she needs this instead

Don't normally put pictures on but as everyone who knows me knows me if that make sense.... Appy has gone off to his new home, wish them all the love in the world with him. Alice was doing science experiments at school for new parents until 10 last night and has a stinking cold, so boot shopping and a duvet day instead of our ice cream day. Have a good day and good luck to all at HOYS.

Haggis that is a lovely photo! I just had a lovely conversation with the lady who is breaking Billy and she says he's the biggest character they have on the yard - they love him!! I'm chuffed - like getting an excellent school report about one of the kids! ;D

Sorry Hats and Haggis are having a poopy time but both are probably for the best after the initial upset. Hats I know it'll seem stressful now but to be honest the way you have been treated in the past and how down you have sounded you deserve far better and can hopefully now move on to the happy times you deserve Haggis it's a blessing that you have sold Appy without having to advertise him as that would have been heartbreaking(especially with some of the twits out there) but at least now the inevitable is done and once you get used to the idea at least you know he is in kind safe hands and can follow his progress. Had a lovely day at HOYS yesterday and my(ex) boy was a very creditable 5th in the FR and he looked lovely and went like a dream. His owners and jockey did him proud and really deserved their success, he's a very lucky boy(but they are too as he's a total sweetheart) I was so proud I had a lump in my throat and a tear in my eye, he looked just like his old dad when he was there and it brought back happy memories. ;D

Hello everyone, welcome back starlight (I know of a fab pony if your still looking for one). Hats onwards and upwards, when I broke up from my husband I can honestly say it was the best and worst time of my life, the best as it was a relief to finally let go of something that didnt work was never going to work, and made all of us miserable, and the worst time because you have all of the practical things to do like legal stuff and family, but that part dosnt take forever and soon you will wonder why you stayed in that relationship for so long. Hugs darling and I am here if you need me. Haggis I know exactly how you feel, I miss Percy terribly, but know that hes is in a better home than I could give him, so I just have to let him go, heartwrentching though it is. Hoys was fantastic, I met LOTI who was lovely, had a lush Diam bar milkshake after a heads up from Brindle about them, like Loti agreed with most of the judging, had a wonderful day and would have loved to have stayed another day. AMWAP great pics in the Mag, I love that picture of Frankie and Dowie. Going to bed early tonight, feeling absolutely knackered Night all.

Wet and windy tonight...... But what's the weather like? Thanks all - I was pulling myself together, then I heard Alice upstairs sobbing into the Applause toy she has so fell a bit. I know thanks KJM I am so so so lucky, a few people gathered I would have to sell him at some point and one perfect person came along at the right moment. Fate is one of those things. I could have sold him a few times over this week now people know he's gone but I would still have chosen this home for him. to purpleronnie on here for telling her sister and for leaving lots of chocolates on my doorstep tonight when I got home xxx It's so expensive having a daughter whose feet are bigger than mine. I can buy children's shoes and sale shoes as I'm a 3 1/2 to a 4 - she's now 5 1/2 - 6 Only ended up with a pair of winter converses gave up on boots and proper shoes as they are so expensive and it's not like I can have them when she outgrows them. Hugs to all little ponies in their new homes and to all owners (plus obviously Hats, Dazy and Luke too x)

Not got anything to tell but you all have news so that is great.
KJM I am feeling proud for you, what a massive achievement. Have you got a nice photo.
Hats and Haggis, thinking of you both. Hats it will get worse before it gets better. Bit like getting out of prison, you won't know what to do with yourself and it is scarey, you don't want to go back inside though for it will take every single little bit of you away.
We shall be here throughout.

Sagey I was so proud of them I could have run in and hugged them. He was so well behaved too and never moved a muscle when stood in line. I didn't take my camera and couldn't look at the pro ones cos their stand is in the stabling area but I'm hoping the owners will have some, I'm sure they will.

KJ you must be so proud you could burst! I know I would be. Get is some piccys and put them on for us. And whats his name so we can look for him in the results thread? Haggis I dread the day I have to sell one of mine. OH slowly getting the showing bug so my plan is that he will inherit Dowie when Frankie outgrows him to show in-hand. L/R jockey not looking like coming anytime soon and he knows I won't sell Ros and we are unoffically limited to 2. But if he wants to show something in hand it will have to be Mr Doodles as Ros doesn' enjoy it really. KT, I love that piccy of them too. Tis my fave pony photo of all times. You know how big moving Moo/Tel stock is. And he finds it soooo hard to go at Frankies pace so does this really BIG welsh trot, but in slo mo, almost like a medium trot for her. All power and no pace behind it so she can keep up with him. I get a hold of him and he won't do it for me lol. Its extended and keep up mummy or you'll be on your ass lol. Bless him.

Went to see a house today which was lovely and i could afford but the deposit is just over 2k and because im not homeless i can not get any help. I dont want to rush into things. OH thinks we can carry on living in the same house and he can still come to my parents at christmas but i can not see how that will work. I just don't know what he wants. He wants to still be a big part of the girls life. I just don't know what to do.
On a brighter note Lani has her 1st gala of the new swim season tomorrow so im looking forwards to that to take my mind of things.

Hats he wants to have his cake and eat it! he needs a serious reality check and to grow up. Can you sell your present house and share the proceeds then you are free of him and can move on and he will have to play by your rules. You def need to put your foot down or he will carry on putting on your good nature and playing silly beggars. Enjoy your day tomorrow but keep strong and don't let IT push you around.xxxx

Can he not help you out with the deposit? It doesn't seem right that you should have to foot the bill. I don't know much about these things but I think you need some professional advice as you need a reliable and knowledgeable shoulder to lean on. I'm sure everyone on here will give you as much moral support as we can(I wish you lived nearer, I'd come and make you a cuppa and give you a hug) but you need professional help too. I'm sure there must be places you can go to get free advice and someone on here could point you in the right direction.

Get some agents to come and value your place and talk to them about the value today and the anticipated value if you do X and Y work to it and you may find it's not worth delaying and doing it but to just sell now. Sometimes a house with a bit to do here and there are more appealing to people in a slightly unsure market as they know they can add value, sometimes a completed place isn't necessarily going to get it's money back. You need a professional opinion on it.
For us we'd get a better return getting the planning permission and then selling than doing the work, if we do the works we won't get the money back for example.
May not work that way but you could do with knowing. He could just drag out any decisions by not getting the work done soon. You'll miss the pre christmas sales market if you don't get it in very very quickly. People set Christmas as a deadline to be in, and with paperwork it's cutting it tight soon, then the market dies in the new year for a while x
