The article highlights the difficulty faced by both the JMB and HOYS very well. I can see both points of view on this one and I think it will be a difficult issue to resolve satisfactorily (she says sitting firmly on the proverbial fence and probably splintering her bum in the process )

What I cannot un derstand about all this is how a pony or horse can be as much as 2.5cm more when measured again. Even if it wa significantly fatter and therefore had more fat over the withers, would it actually be this much? Is there a chance that some horses grow when they are older than six? Do vets get the measurement wrong (I doubt this but it might be the case)? Is everyone thinking its something else and no-one is saying?

Forget Captain Hastings! The tallest winner has to be the grey 153 HOYS chamion show hunter pony who when measured also measured out of ISHT! Beautiful animal but far too big!

Diptford Sea Eagle in my eyes is not a big 153 SHP. If you looked in the ring at HOYS you would see it was not the biggest 153cm in the class.

Think they meant the gorgeous dapple grey that the Binks won with a few Hoys back
