There is someone on the Edinburgh horse pages scamming people, goes by the names Lee McKee and Rhona Mills. No idea if connected though, will see if I can get details.

To everyone who has paid money into a bank in relation to the Poppy Eastwood scam, go onto the receiving banks page on Facebook and publically shame the banks. They KNOW their banks are being used to operate scams but they're not doing nearly enough! Tell them publically the account number & sort code you paid into, the amount and date. Screen shoot it (Ctrl & Prt Scrn then paste into word) take a pic of the screen shot and post it into the FB group.
Are you going to shrug your shoulders and leave it to other people to fight for you?

They are selling saddles and rugs, pay via bank and nothing turns up. I have asked for more info which I will then get either them to pass on or will do so myself.

I am getting quite cross. now some of you who have been scammed are not doing anything about it. there are some of us trying our socks of to help you and do we get any feedback...no. well I for one am not bothered now if you don't get your money back, but ill keep fighting to get this woman jailed.

I'm disappointed too that people aren't bothered. You may have lost your money but what about the next victim? It's up to us all to pull together and fight - pester the banks, the Police, the media - tell it to anyone who will listen until she's safely under lock and key. I haven't lost anything, there's just something about it that really angers me |

Will do! With you all the way! 1 reply is all I have had regarding visiting HSBC. I am the same-MY MONEY LOST BUT TRYING TO HELP OTHERS! One poor girl nearly lost 5,600!!! After already paying £400. She had a niggle and investigated. Next time it might be someone you know really well or even you again and you'll be gutted that you didn't fight a little harder last time! X

I haven't lost any cash as I refuse to do bank now, only cash on delivery or paypal, but I am trying my best to follow up on something that sounds like her style on a FB group I am on.

I didn't loose anything as I had been reading this thread so when she tried to scam me I knew her no. and went along with it. iv spent hrs on the phone trying to get the right nos to get your monies back, which has cost me money... same as Laura and liz. if we can do this so can u lot

My interest in this is that I run an equestrian sales business and many customers buy unseen by transferring money directly into my account - I hasten to add they always get their goods! However having scammers operating is not good news for a business like mine, leaving that fact aside, I have a personal reason for pursuing Poppy Eastwood - she tried to scam someone by offering them my horsebox!
Does she use an HSBC account? If so I have a direct line to their fraud department and would certainly give them a call.

I have long since realised that I have no chance of ever getting my money back, but I am so angry about what she is doing to people, that I will continue to fight to get her put away for a very long time. Was on phone today for nearly two hours chasing round, and whilst this is tedious I will not give up, so please can the rest of the hundreds of victims show some support for the cause too, as it is also you, that people like myself and Laura are fighting for too, not just for ourselves. But we need you too to add weight to our complaints to the various banks, authorities etc, so that they take note and actually do something to help. |

If you run a business I assume you have a landline, that always reassures people, I will not do business or transfers to people without one. Also your business should be registered with Companies House with a number you can quote on your ads so people can verify that you are a legitimate business, if you trade over a certain level you will have a VAT number. |

X Suppose that's what keeping drug dealers happy does for you - she must be very well protected or she'd probably be in a hospital bed by now - or if her drug habits catch up with her, it'll be the morgue with a bit of luck - I always like to think that you get what you deserve in the end, in which case God help her when it all finally comes crashing down on her!!!!!!!! I so hope that one day someone is finally so p----d off that she gets what's due to her and I really hope she suffers as a result, for all the pain and suffering she has caused innocent people - vile, disgusting creature. As she's presently out "on bail" she should be re-arrested. Kent Police know she's not stopped scamming people, it's a disgrace that they're doing nothing, there's no shortage of evidence.
Don't forget, if you've been scammed or have information, get on the FB group, it will be easier to collate all the evidence there as we know who each other is. There's also advice & contact numbers to help you quickly speak to the right people.
I absolutely agree with the person who has an online business, this kind of thing spoils if for everyone. What Poppy is doing shouldn't stop the genuine sellers from being trusted but it will
