I do believe my favourite so far is selling her "HOYS" stable to a producer I think. The reason being "She can't get her pony on the trailer!!!" Of course in real life you spend loads of money chasing the qualifiers, get a HOYs ticket and then can't get your pony on trailer and give up!!! HAHAHHAHA-NEVER GONNA HAPPEN POPPY YOU DIPSTICK!!!!
Come hell or high water your pony would be there in the safest possible way-REAL horsey people don't give up that easily or scam like you!

She will get caught, i have read many stories similar to this over the years here is one for example linkI do believe the police are interested, but possibly they are waiting for the right moment, as you all say drugs etc are involved here, so it most probably goes a lot deeper than you think, in time ( which i know is frustrating) she will be locked up, and with several others that are also behind this In the meantime people just need to be aware and not so willing to send money to anyone, check people out before you do, sadly we are not all honest in this world |

Not content with trying to scam me as 'Louise Barrett', she contacted me this morning as 'Melanie Wicks'. Looks like she is losing track of who she has already tried! Usual story....no Paypal etc, etc.....I played along to ensure I got her bank details. She used a Lloyds account 44875960 sort code 30-96-31. Another account in Orpington despite telling me that she is in Cheshire! Will pass this on to the Fraud team and will also be writing to Lloyds Bank. Keep up the good work folks :-)

Omg just done a routine check on my emails and have got one from Melanie wicks regarding a 18" black country saddle for sale. The thing is I haven't even put a wanted ad out for one and she has somehow obtained my email address. I have no idea how she knew I would be interested in this saddle as ironically it is exactly what I would want if I was buying another saddle. The only way would be to go through all the ads that I may have replied to looking for more info in the past. this is the work of someone who knows exactly what she is doing.

She defiantly is losing track of things , as she keeps texting me to try & sell me a 17" Fylde . I've told her several times to get lost & I know she is a fraud, but she keeps texting me !!

Thanks guys get reporting even if only attempted! fraud squad want this info for evidence to build up the case that will be going to court. Shout if u need fraud squad number. Shes getting careless or more than one on it! Also she is looking at older adverts as thats how she works! x

That's exactly what she does - I had asked for more info on a 17inch Fylde Samantha about a month ago, that is how she got my e mail address. Unfortunately, due to some issues with new members, the ability for Newbies to PM was disabled for a while so a lot of Newbies left their e mails addresses on threads where they could be read by anyone. Thankfully PMing has been switched back on  |

And why the heck hasn't she been jailed long since - because the Met are hopeless, that's why, don't think they could catch a cold. Well obviously not, considering the amount of evidence and cold hard facts they have about this vile, evil cow. It's not going to take a genius to work it out is it, and yet they can't even manage that. Probably too busy putting out parking tickets and fixed penalties on motorists, as that's an easy collar to bump up, their crimes solved statistics! Woe betide they should actually do what they're supposedly paid to do -"Uphold the law and protect the innocent" - SO FAR FROM THE TRUTH THESE DAYS IT'S A JOKE!!!! I don't know what makes you so sure she'll be caught soon, as from where I'm standing it seems unlikely, but something in they way you seem so sure about it makes me think you maybe do know more than you can say. If the Police haven't found the right moment by now, will they ever manage it? |

Possibly a great idea-unforuntunately same as bank change, name, branch etc, change phone, pay as you go, new network etc! Let's face it so long as these companies continue to make money from her they are not really that bothered about the rest of the customers getting ripped off!
I'll call bank again today regarding the details above but again unless we all keep calling, reporting, moaning nothing continues to happen. I will be calling chief commisioner Anne Barnes again-anyone else willing to?! x

Just to mention a point which is raised a few times in this post - whilst there is no doubt from the information throughout this thread that this particular person does seem to be fruaduelenty obtaining money and using various alias's - it is however possible to not live where your bank branch is. Please dont rely on this as a source of information for other people who are legitamite
The majority of the time the bank branch and corresponding sort code is where the account was opened. I've had my bank account for over 20 years and am assigned to the branch where I opened it and this is not where I live. I have moved house several times and there are branches much nearer, but my branch hasnt changed. This also caused problems for some customer of Lloyds/TSB as when their branches were split from each other recently, those assigned to one bank may not have had a 'local branch' as they have moved since the account was opened and the allocation of whcih customer went to which bank was done on where your account was allocated not necessarily where you live now.

I've seen alot of people on here have contacted the banks concerned directly.
I work for rbs and unfortunately if someone phones with a suspicious activity report we can only direct them to the police.
There are cases of malicious attempts to freeze someone's account maybe by an ex for example and because of this and data.protection we will not take any direct action on the account.
All phone calls or letters in this manner are logged accordinly and I'm not sure if it's the same process with every bank or building society however unfortunately the banks hands are tied by data protection laws until instructed by the validation (fraud) team or the police.

Someone reported the other day that they had sent an envelope full of cash off to a seller but hadn't received their goods.... !

Has anyone herd of r barret or Danielle peters?  ??Think we have been scamed for £100 we were contacted by text saying she had some nhue shue bits for sale out of the blue she asked what size we wanted and she just hppened to have what we needed we agrpeed the two for £100 we payed it into her Banque we later recieved a text saying her banque acount was not working and could you pay it into this Banque witch was " r barret" we then smelt a fish and rang the Banque and confirmed it but we said no we do no longer want the bits but she continuosly text me saying the bits are sent could you please pay the money into my acount I then felt sorry for her thinking she was an inocent lady worrying she wasn't going to get payed this was on Thursday(3/10) and she first contacted us on the Tuesday (1/10)by this time the bits had still not arrived we tried ringing texting and no reply and when we finally got a reply it was "the bits are sent" or "they'll be there tomorrow" and today I have text her and told her if they do not arrive within the next few days I will be contacting the police and again the reply was "they should be there tomorrow" |

I can't believe that this person has no shame and is still insisting on conning people!!! Someone must no who is actually behind all this!!! The police seem to me to be absolutly useless, they should of acted upon this weeks ago!!! Surely if everyone who says they have reported her, have reported her the police will have enough evidence and information on this person to do something! I like yourselves "only nearly" got scammed a couple of weeks ago and I have been watching this post ever since, and I now feel enough is enough!!!!! Whoever it is who is scamming innocent people, is also obviously reading this post and proberly sat back laughing at herself!!! And the *bit*h* needs to be stopped!!!!!!! I really don't no how she sleeps at night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
