For god sake this is really annoying me now!!! Will everybody bloody learn to pay by paypal only and this scammer will be halted in her tracks! DO NOT PAY BY BANK TRANSFER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! Sorry to rant but getting really annoyed now that shes still at large!!! Maybe send everyone on this forum a message saying this?

Everyone who has been scamed by this women, needs to ring the police (101)were they will be tansfered to fraud and internet investigations. We reported her today and were told there are already several investigations going on they also said the more people report it the more chance of her being brought to justice. Please make the effort to report it. It will be worth it. You will also be given a crime number and may be able to take it up with your bank.

Metropolitan Police Complaints Dept and speak to a Sergeant Nicholas - 02071610771, to put in any complaints as to why they are allowing her to continue with her criminal activities despite having so much evidence and so many reports. Please, everyone who has been or nearly has been scammed by this evil cow, get in touch with this Officer and department and the more they receive, the better the chance of nailing her.
PLEASE, PLEASE DO CALL AND COMPLAIN, AS DOING NOTHING WILL ACHIEVE ONLY ONE THING - NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!
THE ONLY WAY TO STOP HER IS TO ALL COME FORWARD, STAND UP AND BE COUNTED, AND LETS GET HER PUT AWAY.

I've bought loads of things through HG but won't be doing again. I think that it's rather unfair to blame this site for the fact you have been scammed. We have let this thread run so that members can keep each other informed and also PMd all members to advise not to post their contact details on threads and to use PayPal for transactions - anyone who chooses not to follow this advice is obviously free to do so, but the scammer is not involved on this site and takes advantage of anyone who doesn't follow the above advice. |

Another one going round FB at the moment is for a renault master horsebox. Its up for roughly 8k and just a little bitg under normal selling price to be attractive. It has been on and off tha horsemart, horse deals etc. When you enquire the person is away on an oil rig they ask you to pay via ebay / paypal. You can't view the horsebox but they say that you can pay via paypal for protection and have 14 days to inspect it and if you dont like it return it. DO NOT REPLY AS I HAVE CALLED PAYPAL AND YOU ARE NOT COVERED FOR MOTOR VEHICLES!

A friend of mine posted up a pony for sale on here and put her mobile number on it, shes now being inundated with offers of a cheap fylde samantha from someone called Mel
Even if your selling a Long Eared Short Haired Hamster my advice would be to keep any phone numbers/details off your post and do pm's for details only.

Horsebox scams are given a good airing on www.traveltwohorseboxes.com I am amazed by the number of people who have lost huge sums of money to horsebox scammers. Parting with £100 for a piece of tack is one thing, parting with £8,000 for a horsebox is quite another. These scams are on every site all over the internet - a friend of my husband lost £12,000 on a non existent Range Rover! Poppy Eastwood obviously saw the potential in larger items when she tried to sell my Marlborough Hunter to someone, happily she was stupid enough to use my photos showing the registration! |

I used to have someone called Sophie on my Facebook (I'm no longer on there now). I never knew her personally she requested me as we had horsey mutual friends.
She never tried to sell me nowt but seems a bit 'suspicious' don't want to give anymore details away as she could innocent and just unfortunately share the same name.

Please, please be warned, I bought a rug from a totally legitimate company on ebay through PAYPAL, two days later was contacted by PAYPAL, someone had bought a £500 mobile phone on my account. Have been refunded but account now frozen! Even PAYPAL is not secure x

She has tried to sell me a saddle at the weekend i received a text message from her, and when asked how she got my number she said it was from an advert. I have never advertised for a saddle. She emailed me pictures under the name of Danielle Peters. Her phone number she was using at that time was 07858054619.

looks like the names they are using today are Marvin Barrett/ Bennett.
I received an email this afternoon offering me two saddles very cheap, if they had been around the going rate I prob wouldnt have battered an eye lid.
I realised it was a scam and have sent numerous emails back and forth, they state they dont have paypal. They are going away for two weeks. I have made arrangements for a friend to collect from their address and they provided the details Jemma Hunter, 3 Baytree Close, Chichester.
I asked why different name from the email and she said it was her partners phone.
I have replied saying I will have a friend collect it and with cash on collection when they return from their holidays to which she has replied she must have the money in her account!
No thanks! Please be aware!

Definitely not caught - I have her texting (pestering me) this very moment about a Samantha saddle or a Hayden saddle - no price give. But. Bank details given to pay into account for Mr M Barrett.!!! I offered to pay via PayPal then cash on collection but can only be paid into bank - SORRY she ain't conning me!
