ideal make only 2 saddles for fylde i believe they are the samantha and the haydon ,if you go on fylde site it will tell you, and infomation is also on ideals they are peter from fyldes design made by ideal. i have ideal and saddle company saddles. HAS ANYONE USED A FORESTER SADDLE I WOULD BE GLAD FOR ANY OF YOUR COMMENTS ON THESE PM IF YOU PREFER THANKS

Ideal make them for peter, he just alters them (wider or narrower), he has his mark put onto them because they are his design. i do wish they would put a bit more padding in them as not all ponies are flat backed welshies. I have a Fylde and a Native Pony. The Native pony is a quality well made saddle. I find the Fylde lacks substance and while I know it is close contact (Samantha), the lack of padding worries me. It has a lower profile than the native pony which makes it slightly smarter, but I don't rate it for comfort for the pony or quality of leather at all.

i love te fylde but since getting a native i rate them slightly better for the rather rounder pony.
