Pleased with the initial responses to our ***NEW*** POYS WHP class for animals registered with NCPA (Class 108) Answers to a few recent queries: There is NO upper height for the animals, as we have no upper height on our NCPA Register YES it is open to any breed/type, as so is our register To register animal the cost is £30 online (plus £3 online fee) but this is for life of animal NOT an annual fee & obviously also entitles riders to do the flat classes (also with no rider age limits) If we get the support we will definitely split the class in future years (probably M&M & Non M&M) And finally - remember that this new class is ONLY £5 to enter!!!!! Full POYS schedule see www.thencpa.co.uk

Hi Janet. Having a senior moment here. Can you confirm the open classes are only 60-68 & 108?? All the other classes are POYS classes and there is no entry fee for the chairmans cup or golden ticket??
I've looked several times and couldn't get my head round it lol.
Thanks

Yes that is correct When you do your entries the system automatically charges you the correct fee or FOC for the classes you pick
Class 108 does require the animal to be registered though

You need to contact them direct & if they have nothing there is a yard next door who some people used last year (again via Warren Farm) or Aintree

Hi Janet, the timetable seems to show the Open M&M WH before the Novice M&M WH, but the schedule has the novice classes listed first. Could you confirm if the novice classes will be held before the opens please?

Could you confirm if the novice classes will be held before the opens please? I will need to check this comanchediva but I'm fairly certain we run the Novice classes first (making the timetable wrong!)

Dear NCPA Pony of the Year Exhibitor
Firstly a BIG thank you for supporting the show!
A few tips, hints & reminders to help your day go smoothly:
ALL back numbers have been posted out (if you only entered since Saturday they should be with you by THURSDAY at the latest due to the bank holiday post)
PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING THEM!!!
You can enter classes 60-68 & 108 on the day if you wish (£5 cash only) but class 108 requires the animal to be registered with us - you must do this before the show day online.
Anyone wishing to add/alter any entries - this is possible but I will need to do it manually & you will need to bring any extra cash on the day.
Please park as directed on the day & also please remember to keep any dogs on a lead (& it goes without saying - poo pick!)
There is an ERROR on the printed timetable & the NOVICE M&M WHP classes run BEFORE the OPEN M&M WHP classes.
No sections will start BEFORE the "Not Before" times on the schedule. Classes will FOLLOW ON within each section BUT if you think you may have a clash please speak to the RING STEWARDS & COMMENTATOR & everyone will do their best to accommodate you.
Due to their weight BRASS PLAQUES are given out at the secretary's office - please bring your rosettes with you (all places 1st to 3rd receive a plaque)
Anyone entering the GOLDEN TICKET FINALS REMEMBER to bring your ticket with you to gain entry to the classes - this applies to those winning one on the day - present yourself for the correct class with your Golden Ticket when the class is called.
One final point:
HAVE FUN & ENJOY YOURSELVES!!!!

Dear Exhibitor
We hope you had an enjoyable day at the NCPA Pony of the Year Show and had a safe journey home.
I did try to book the lovely sunshine we had last year, but it wasn't to be unfortunately. We hope the rain did not dampen your enthusiasm too much.
All the judges commented on the very high standard throughout the show and the the lovely sporting attitude of you our members and your supporters.
Don't forget there are still more NCPA shows to come in 2017 & remember to find a good picture of you and your horse to put in the Yearbook to celebrate your success (or just a really happy moment together!)
We look forward to seeing you all next year
Janet Bushell (on behalf of all the NCPA volunteers)
