Hello, I have pretty much all the marks for the HOYS classes (except workers, sorry!) and will post them this afternoon - only got home at 3am so just sorting through everything now. Will put them up on the show register and post a link here later on - bare with me!

Thanks for all your kind replies. I'm just doing the next batch now - have all the M&Ms, the LR SHP (which I'd appreciate if anyone else has too as appears to be one missing?!) and all the intermediates.

Do you have the Small Hunter marks, by any chance, as people seem to be casting doubt on here about the honesty of the judging???

small hunters aren't marked - none of the BSHA/Hunter classes are judged using marks. Only ponies/coloureds/arabs/M&Ms/workers.

small hunters aren't marked - none of the BSHA/Hunter classes are judged using marks. Only ponies/coloureds/arabs/M&Ms/workers. At HOYS the BSHA judges and the hunters as well use marks - it is impossible to judge without the marks. However, these are not made available to the public and are for the use of the judges only. They do not have to place the horse with the highest mark first if it is not the one they want (if that makes sense) - however, it does ensure that something that was naughty or went badly does not find itself at the top of the line, and a good ride get forgotten.

ok - all the marks I have are up on the website now. Please note they were taken down from the marks sheets, so apologies but there are a couple of gaps (my fault for doing it late on Sunday night!) so if anyone can fill them in that would be much appreciated. We will have a fancier searchable gismo for next season, so keep your eyes peeled!!

Interesting reading indeed!! Faye thanks for all your efforts -- it's really interesting to see but I am still scratching my head wondering how a Cuddy winner can be given 32 for confirmation - and Kilmannan Black Wizard 39 for a show that was foot perfect! That's showing for you and HOYS is no exception!

What a refreshing set of marks! It makes a nice change to see! Mod - will you be going though the marks yourself on a excel sheet as per last year?

jinja, thats what I ment by intersting.................. some strange reading, but at the end of the day, its the judges who judge, what ever we may feel, they decide!

Can't wait to see m&m lead rein marks thanks Dont understand the L/R scores some ponies that didnt get placed, scored higher than 9th place!! The marks are NOT accurate. We were 9th with 37 for confirmation NOT 32 as noted before people think HOYS got it wrong. I have the ACCURATE marks if people want to PM me. To reiterate, Fairmarsh Black Magic was rightly 9th.
