Can i ask peoples opinions of showing under Vin Toulson - is he facey? Very hot on conformation and will do as he wants. Will sometimes forgive a genuinely true to type animal with good conformation if it makes a mistake.

I was told of lots of people that the judges at PUk would not like my conni ( nearly didnt go )...went ...and she did like him !!! You need to be in it to win it !! Good luck

All systems go Ferret, just wondered, certain types of judge just love her (the mare that is) usually the older more trad type. We are in the first class, so hopefully the judge will be bright eyed and bushy tailed and it'll work in our favour.

Please use this thread for information on judges, not for discussing the merits or otherwise of individual judges.

hello John Conifey? He is a horrendous face judge - do a search for the east of england thread to see what people thought of his judging there. he had a horse to win that kicked another in the line up, as well as misbehaving on go-round - no surprise that a well known producer was on board Facey facey facey yes i agree with you. was competing at east of e. judging appalling in my eyes

Having seen that the BSPS Lead Rein thread has been locked it looked worth pointing out that many judges on this site have been named and inappropriate comment made and yet this thread has not been removed. Is this site out to protect some judges and not others? If the BSPS HOYS M&M judge did as was suggested and the incident has been reported then we should all be informed and warned of the person involved. No pony or competitor was named on the BSPS thread and if the incident has been reported then we must all hope for the good of fair competition that the BSPS will see fit to act and deal with the judge concerned appropriately. if the allegations are true it would be an unforgivable offence. What was the "favour" in return for?

I have only just taken on this role and cannot go back through every post and remove every name. But whilst I am on line I will do my best to make sure that it operates within the rules.
I may not get it right first time every time. But I am doing my best. On the thread in question the pony was named and I removed the name. Twice. As I have said previously I do not know the truth of the situation and therefore must remain impartial. There are proper channels to take action against judges you feel are acting inappropriately.
Whilst I have every sympathy for people who feel they have been unfairly treated by judges, or that they have lost out due to favours being given, if I am not privy to all the facts I cannot take sides.
The rules of the site ask you not to post liable or defamatory statements. I am just trying to uphold these rules.

what will fiona cameron go for? She's one of my favourite judges. I've been top, middle and bottom of the line up when she's judged me, but I've always felt that I've been placed where I should be. She likes them to move well and have manners and seems to know bred types very well too. I think this is one Olympia qualifier that it will be difficult to predict.

No pony or competitor was named on the BSPS thread and if the incident has been reported then we must all hope for the good of fair competition that the BSPS will see fit to act and deal with the judge concerned appropriately. See the BSPS Lead Rein Thread has been removed again. Why has this judge been protected when this thread has allowed so many others to be humiliated often without justification. [/quote] The removal of the thread is nothing to do with protecting the judge. We have been requested to remove it and, as always, we do delete threads where requested so to do. If you have a problem with how the class was judged, then I suggest you take it up with the BSPS through their official complaints procedure. This thread is for discussing judges and not individual classes. Any future posts on here regarding this incident will be deleted without further comment.
