Also Mr Boustead for confirmation? If you have a look through this thread, I think Mr Boustead already has a few mentions. General concensus is that he is a good, fair judge that likes them to move.

Milly, Mr Johnson likes good limbs and wonderful manners. A very fair and consistent judge and not afraid to place an unknown pony/rider above better known competitors when appropriate. Where is he judging SHP's??

Miss Evans - really lovely lady, usually stewards the Olympias at NPS champs. Have never been under her but she loved my friends big moving pony. B McGrath - again not been under her but saw her New Forest win it's Olympia section at NPS Spring Festival and she was thrilled - seemed a lovely lady if a little ecentric!

Anyone know anything about Mr A J Williams?? Judging a BSPS class I am thinking of entering. Apparently nobody knows of him then I certainly won't enter any more classes under him, he gave our pony crap marks- of course he's not perfect but these were really bad! And he asked the FR class to show an extension in their shows

Anyone no what Mrs S A Fluck likes in a ridden m+m ? Good question!!!!! Very nice lady but not a clue what she goes for. From what I have seen of this judge she is fair and does not go for faces. She seems to like good moving ponies, and I have seen her place welsh more often than not. I just think she judges what she see's on the day. Hope this helps.

Sally Fluck is not a good judge IMO. Reason being last year at the BSPS winter Champs she judged the M&M LR/FR RIHS qualifiers, in the LR class there were 2 ponies that cantered in their individual show yet our pony got the lowest show mark and he went foot perfect i was so angry when the marks where put up but what can you do even if she did not like our pony (a darty)she should never have marked him down on his show. The winner was a shock to everyone as there were lots of better ponies forward on the day. I have thought her to be facey when judging SP and SHP classes over the years. The above comments are only my views with this judge, never watched her judge open M&MS.

Mrs M Allison, Ride judge (HOYS) at Staff country festival? BSPS judge won't know any M&M "faces" & so should be fair. Will like something to go correctly & be mannerly, i wouldn't like to say how much she would know about individual breed type! Who is doing conformation?

This is going back to a comment made some time ago about Clare Dew!!! I can now say I totally agree with Rose and the comments she made!! On sunday I went to see a friend in the RIHS Qualifier! There were some nice ponies in the NF/Connie section and she pulled in her line, however, in the line, the pony pulled in first did not stand. Then, when brought out for confirmation, did not stand (all other ponies were). This led me to believe that the manners mark would be low as marks would have been deducted. Obviously not though, as the pony still won when others did foot perfect shows, stood nicely and were just as nice. When being presented with it's rosette, it also did not stand still!!! Turns out Rose was right and she is facey because it comes from the Jerrams yard!!! Unbelieveable!!!!

hi please can you let me know if any of you know what Mrs F Sheffield goes for??? - Don’t know what she likes really. But have seen her judge in the past. It was a couple of seasons ago. Seemed to judge the class very fair and had what I considered the best pony in the class top. Not much help I know but she did know what she was looking at if you understand what I mean.

Not sure how to link up with early response, but someone mentioned Mrs Fluck I also would never go under her again, she seemed to ponies up that wrong legged it and did some very strange marking at area 7 rihs quals last year, I would never put any pony under her even if it had won a lot.
sorry to be so negative about a judge but this lady winds me up.
