In a couple of months its Skints big 50th birthday and she is having a party. We want her to have the best ever party without breaking the bank.
Any ideas for fun and games along with a fancy dress scheme.... room decoration etc....plus not to difficult as we dont wont to put people of either coming or joining in. Also anybody who is good at designing invites that can be printed out feel free to have a go once we have the theme
Famous people or cops and robbers seem to be fav ones at the moment.....
Thanks everyone
lolly x

I have done a cowboys and indians themed party before, we did sausauges, beans and mash and pancakes and icecream. It is easy costume wise as everyone has a pair of jeans/checked shirt! I was all in black, black jeans, shirt with tassles and black hat, I was the Bady! I even had a thin black moustache! Hubby was an indian chief with full headdress!

Bucking bronco always goes down well - and people are usually happy to put something in a bucket towards the cost for a laugh.
Sausage and mash has always been a winner but don't envy those doing the mash. We ended up having twelve people with sore wrists from mashing so much potato - but don't think of using an electric wizzer as it then goes to slush!
Adults also enjoy pin the tail on something.
Whatever you do I hope it is a success

With regard to my party, the pink theme is good but I cannot see everyone joining into the spirit of it - My brother in pink - NOOOOO
I wondered if the famous people theme may be easier to do. We could have posters of famous folks around the room etc.
Also think that we ought to put on the invites "Fancy Dress (Famous people) or Dress Fancy
This would keep my daughter and her friends happy as she wants to have a whole new trendy outfit
I know its playing a bit safe what does everyone think.

Great idea and easy to do! You could make it famous people past or present, gives people a bit more leeway.
