conni wise it has to be Ri over Best man , although best man is lovely . Dont think Ri will win again but would be fab if he did ! Just looking forwards to watching ....with the atmosphere ponies can be unpredictable , but good luck to all !

You might be right with regard to the connies but defo think best man could give ri a run for its money. Also no disrespect to sportsman or barney but dont think they are in the same league
Think it will be interesting to see what happens with the ds because think mai and loer solo are very different types should be interesting to see them judged. I think loer solo may edge it on performance though, but hey its olympia and anything could happen .
Good luck to all ;D

;DHighlands - Taransay! She'll have to have more sparkle in her eye than at NEC, but I think she was maybe saving herself! ;D

The A's will be the toughest breed group as they are all movers though sometimes overbitted and overbent. Ri will be stunning on the day. Raisbeck casino could do it if it goes as it did at hOYS. Felinmor Triple crown is nothing but a D and goes lovely. All the highlands should go well. Pearly King is impressive on his day as is the Shetland.

Good luck Brian, we'll be there to cheer all the Dales on Offtopic, have you taken over AH for the dales section? Theres some great dales area news on the new dales discussion board, i'm not sure i've seen you on there so don't know if you knew the link and I don't know your email. z10.invisionfree.com/DalesPonyDiscussion/index.php?Anna (with Magic)

Too right, we'll be there supporting you, Brian. Wishing you and all the other qualifiers the very best of luck What a lovely fabulous moving pony she looks.
When you see all the native ponies there together, it brings a lump to your throat - it makes you proud to be British, and so proud of our native ponies.

[glow=red,2,300][/glow] as a connie fan i think that ri is quality but has won everything there is to win and last year had easy competition in the connies. He will Definatly have a good run for his money against best man as his best is yet to come and if he is on form on the day and pulls it out the bag then we might all be in for a shock including ri. after all we don't know what people have been doing since HOYS and ive seen ponies at HOYS then go to Olympia and they can look 10 million times better.
All the ponies going this year are really nice and good luck to everybody i do agree with who ever said about the large breeds the standard is very high this year.

I don't know but as a complete independent observer, I really like that Connemara Carracastle Barney. As an owner of a NF pony why is it that NF ponies do not fare so well at Olympia. Is it because they lack the presence or height of some of the larger breeds? Lovely pony but shouldn't think its in with a shout as the owner is now riding.

I have looked at the list of those going this year and think they are all very strong contenders. In the past i have watched the classes and wondered at how some of them actualy qualified, there have been the obvious weaker ponies but wow this year it really is anybodies. Good luck to all of you, you are a credit to your breed societies and should be proud of your achievements. Think i would love it to be a hairy

She's a nice rider and a lovely girl and I expect she will have a great time as Barney is a reliable performer. I for one will be cheering her on
