will do skint have put lots of bait boxes out and we were told to peanut butter with it as rats go mad for it checked on of the boxes this evening and it was nearly emty so have re-filled it the peanut butter seems to go down well

My baiting is working, found a dead one in the hay barn yesterday,I seem to get the job of disposing of the bodies, i have never seen so many grown women scream!as i picked it up by the tail!

I confess I did scream once when dealing with rats.... however I must say here that I was moving bales and one shot out from behind the bales and ran up and over my shoulder! Now that did make me squeal!

i was told to buy a ferret to get rid of rats paid 40 pounds for one which was trained to come back when you use a clicker put ferret down hole and have never seen him again .i am now teaching horses to come to me with sound off clicker that does not work either .very expensive piece off plastic.

Yes, bit of a scary thought isn't it!!! We used to keep the ponies in part of an old pit pumping house and had sporadic attempts to slaughter the rats - had an open fire in the middle room, used to use the rats (only after death of course!) as part of the kindling and they worked realy well... I promise I won't use them on the bbq!!!

overrun by rats too, saw one last night enormous blurdi thing, had to put up with sorting out the hay whilst it ran under the pallet, they have chewed doors and rugs grrrrr and not taking the bait, its the blue stuff in sachets the year before last they took a whole bucket of the sachets in about 3 days never found bodies but didn`t see any rats either

We have cats and a plug in thingie, not a rat/mouse in sight and we have 11 horses on the yard..... downside cats occassionally pee on rugs

What do you think I'm putting the Kebabs skint I thought you could hold it by the tail and just munch away. I think the reason we have so many is this place used to be a cattle farm and was empty for 8years before we moved in so they were able to breed quiet freely and we also have chickens ( and you want to see the size of our chickens we breed Bramhas google the name) and they always encourage them. When I go down the yard later this evening I will get the name off the carton and PM you.

Anyone tried those sonic plug-in rodent repeller thingies? We have a sonic thing to stop cats pooing in the garden, can't say it's done much good! YES we have one in our tack room its worked wonders!!!!! not one little mousey!! or rat

well opened the little packets and springled also silver service and provided a drink it makes them take more poison apparently, loads went but nothing in the last few days hooray, so bracing myself to lift the pallet and search for bodies

we've had some real big one's dead today scared the crap out of me they were bigger than the terrier we had to bury them as he would not stop barking which drove the danes demented and I had them running round like headless chickens.

Worrying thing is that daughter is also in cardiff shopping for her school trip to spain - I have given her special instructions on which bits of cardiff to avoid...
