Hello peeps. Sorry for delay in telling you about your favorite diva child but been to London for 36 hours with eldest child and just returned. Daughter and OH have been on horse duty and regularly reporting back. Anyway just to let you know the story so far. Velvet the diva babe is now out with Gracie and Cookie. I seperated my two yesterday morning too - Toffee and Gracie were calling each other yesterday afternoon but have stopped now. Gracie isn't calling for her mum now either and seems to have waved her goodbye quite quickly. She is eating well and has a lovely combo rug on to keep her warm. On the other hand, Gracie is being a witch as she is not allowing Cookie and Velvet to buddy up ( she has always been inseperable from her older sister but I thought I'd cured her from thinking she is her step mother). So, tomorrow Cookie is coming out to go with Toffee and I'm putting Tansie my 26 year old section A in instead who wont stand ANY diva nonsense. As we are due sunshine (thats apparently a big yellow thing than appears in the sky  ) I promise to take camera up so you can see that diva babe is happy. Till then ..... |

As promised here are a few pics taken this morning. Both foals very warm and cosy in their circus tent rugs and still mooching around in grass rather than eating hay. They are both eating well and although gracie trying the occasional cry to her mum in fields about 300 yard away, all been good so far. I moved Auntie Cookie out and put two ponies in. This was taken just afterwards.  I have 3 more but cant get them to load at the moment. Will try again later |

They look fab, however where is your snow? So far no snow - not on the ground anyway. We are due some tonight. The diaries will report on weather tomorrow. Glad you like the bubbas rugs. Saxons are brilliant for foals as neck not too long. |

They are out on the grassy bit tonight with lots of hay and are fine. Gave both of them a big under rug cuddle/scratch this morning. If it did snow badly they will come in and Toffee will stay out.
Please pray snow doesnt come. xx

Tap tap tap..... Here is what you have been waiting for.... Tansie, Harry, and diva babes     Sharing hay together.  Nanny Tansie (26 years old) keeping watch:   Proof that they are beginning to be good friends:   And then Meg decided that Velvets ears needed warming up:   'Have you seen yourself in a mirror lately?'  Not sure that Violet would approve? They are lovely and warm and having eaten grass all night till snow arrived didnt really want the hay. Hope you and Sam enjoy the pics. xx |

OH just walked past and said - "I didn't know you could get hats for them too" ah bless the un-horsey side of the family. I think he's more worried that that is yet another thing i may need to purchase. They look so contented they're going to be great well-handled individuals.

My vet said "It will be really good for Velvet to run ferral for a while - as she is so well handled already"..........I dont think she realised that HTP and young Megan, are such hands-on (or hats on) people LOL x

Lovely pics HTP! My friend has the same hat as Velvet lol, but velvet suits it better. I think she will be a fashion diva when she is older and be wearing outrageous outfits that we old fuddy duddies would look silly in, but looking fab all the time.
Love Tansie's face, been here done that, why do I always get dumped with the kids look!
