I agree with skipper also i watched the ridden M&M's at Bath & West, a huge class was won by the Peasdown studs sec C, P.Pinging Popcorn nothing wrong with that but the judge commented on what a lovely sec B it was!!!

M. FRY Will be in charge, not facey, knows what hes about and will not be swayed by anyone, good sort of judge..MR. TEMPLETON Maybe not so honest but should know a good one when he sees it. Could be one of the more interesting qualifyers of the year where the best pony actually wins!!!

Could be one of the more interesting qualifyers of the year where the best pony actually wins!!! MFry doesnt always go for the pony that does the best show allows mistakes, breeds new forest ponies and does well in hand with them, so just jugding the ride could be really interesting, wont go for a face more likely to put a newbie up. Bob Templeton is really experienced (I would think one of the most experienced producers on the circuit) so doing confirmation is a good spot for him and remember he is a Northerner, so may not know many down south. Agree very interesting qualifier.

Mr Fry likes to see a pony move well. I feel he judges on how the pony goes on the day. One day mine can be in top spot, the next lower due to it's performance. Seems like a good judge and not facey.

Mostly definately not facey will rather put up a not 100% show than a good producer. Have seen better ponies down the line but non producers normally alwyas come on top. So there is hope

Certainly think decent judges are thin on the ground this year, every schedule I pick up seems to have an also ran judging, sigh. Oh well saving some money I suppose. One particular judge is judging 4 out of 5 shows that I picked up schedules for.

M Fry is probably the straightest judge you'll ever shown under. He's a very good judge both of conformation and ride. Knows what he's looking at and what he expects from the animals and as has already been said on here, if the producers ponies arent the best ponies in the class he is not afraid to put them where they deserve to be! I would expect the qualifier to be well deserving of the qualification!

it could be the peasedowns sec C in the C&D's they always do well under Mr Fry, but having said that always well deserved and they have got a very good New Forest that he usually puts up in-hand, Mr Templeton will go for nothing but quality I think those in with a chance are Wiloway lord of the rings, ryddy du glyngwr (spelling), P The Judge and probably a welsh A, Should be a interesting one though
