Did anyone get a catalogue with their numbers? I sent a huge prepaid SAE and all I go back was my number!

can anyone tell me how to get there off the M6 toll road or even off the m6

If you come off the M6 at Junction 7, take the exit on the motorway island signposted walsall (this will be the second exit of the motorway you come to, technically doing a right, do not take the first!) Join the dual carriageway (watch it speed cameras are now set at 30!) and continue along this carriageway(approx a mile max) until you come to a double island with a travelodge on your right hand side. Turn right at this island.Carry along the road, Next island turn right again, this will now put you on the Sutton Road, continue along here past the Long Horn pub on your left hand side, Turn left onto Longwood Lane (i think that's it's name, it's the first and only left hand turn on the bend after the pub). Go along this lane(watch the bends) Next island straight over(peugeot dealership on your right), you will then see the showground on your right, next traffic lights turn right. The entrance to the showground is just up this road on the right hand side.
I hope that helps.

Re catalogue
We have NEVER sent out the catalogue before the show. This would be unethical & impratical.
I don't believe any show does?
However I will post the number of entries per class, if that helps. These are also being sent to our web site, but not to sure how long it will take. All numbers have been sent out, NONE to be collected on the day
thanks Tanina

Thanks Tanina! Usual excellent efficiency! Agree that I have never known a catalogue available prior to the start of the show.
.....before anyone moans to Tanina and her hard working committee about the going - you all have the internet, check out the weather (BBC / Metoffice / Metcheck - all free and give reasonable long range forecasts). The going will be on the wet side of heavy. If your pony likes the top of the ground, you may consider saving the diesel money and have a lie in!!!!

Wiill help me decide what time to leave!! Going to ask the OH nicely Not to work on Saturday as since an incident involving my lorry, the only entrance to a showground and 2 tractors I have an aversion to being towed ...OH doesnt mind at all so he can drive...or are we on hard standing ? Not been to this show since the days when its was at Stafford showground...If it on hard standing OH can go and earn some money lol

I was a bit confused about catalogues - it's just that NCPA Derbyshire insisted on a large SAE so they COULD send back a catalogue, and with it being the same organisation I foolishly assumed NCPA Staffs would be the same. No offence meant... Thank you for the numbers in classes, that's all any of us wanted to know.

Have looked at the BBC 5 day forecast and rain everyday except friday for Walsall. If this actually happens, what are the chances of this show being cancelled?
Thanks.

The distance between junction 10 and 7 seems a huge distance but infact is about only a maximum 1.5 miles (Junctions 10-7 are basically on top of each other). It is much quicker to stay on the motorway to 7 than come off at 10. Just a little warning, junction 7 does come on you quite quick so just be aware that you need to get into the left hand feeder lane for it to enable you to get off in advance of the junction. If you follow the basic instructions previously posted above you really can't go wrong whether coming from the north or south, 'hard to find' I would advise really the above and your fool proof directions should have hopefully been provided.

NCPA Derbyshire certainly didn't send out catalogues, they issued catalogue vouchers,no show would ever send out catalogues before the day.

I don't suppose the show committee would take a decision based this early. I think I will give them a ring tomorrow and check the situation regarding the ground and any likely cancellation. Perhaps we call all retrain the ponies in some sort of sub aqua polo?

i think the show has now been cancelled (the in hand classes anyway). you may want to check wth the secretary to make sure but i'm sure the in handers are cancelled - the qualifiers i think are going to try and go ahead

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but... the weather forecast for the weekend is awful again, on the BBC weather last night it showed a huge area of low pressure moving in across the Atlantic on Friday
