taken from saddlesoap.
I have spoken to Laura Hutchins and she has asked me to spread the word that the show is still on.
The rings are being put up tonight and the estate manager is apparently happy for the show to go ahead.

Going on last year, didn't see much hard standing so probably tow on/off although there's a road leading to show area on the park.

it is tow on/off so we arnt going after nearly having the bottom ripped off the lorry at last show from the mud, mum doesnt want to risk it again.

we are not going either, cant face another show in boggy conditions, its rotten riding in the mud, and disheartening knowing that the ponies were gleaming when they stepped down the ramp. Not only that theres all the tack cleaning again when you return as well as ponies to clean up and a lorry to rescue from a internal bog!!
Have also been told from several sources who will win the D ticket.

What the heck it's a star. other famous ponies have qualified on a leg and gone on to win olympia. Rejoice in a fine Cob's success and keep trying. Your day will come.

One of the winners in ridden sec d...(liver chestnut) went off on wrong canter lead and still won!!!!!!!!!!! I dont know what horse you were watching, the cob did not strike off on the wrong leg, it did go to break in trot, but it did not canter on the wrong leg, why would people say that? we videod the class and have that as proof, !!!! I take it you are someone who is jealous? Looking back at our video today, and one thing we certainly noticed in the cob class, was that that particular stallion was very balanced, in his way of going, he didnt rush round and looked an absolute pleasure to ride. I certainly dont need to defend this cob, he is stunning and a fantastic type! The girl who rides him is not a face! I think the judging was absoutly spot on!! Well done the cob! he would have been my pick, I just dont know why people have to be nasty.

Sec A inhands....... Glebdale Savannah.... Mrs R Bodily. Normally entered under williams and glebedale stud. Couldnt do that today as mummy williams was judging. Obviously the recommendations of the NPS didnt stretch as far as northleach. Yes i know it was judged under WPCS rules and they are a law unto themselves anyway

What a bit*hy comment Sec A.... Glebedale savannah is a nice mare and even if Mrs Williams was judging elsewhere on the show ground I am certain it didn't influence Mr Hyslop. I couldn't follow his judging but I'm d**n sure it was honest!
