Socks you will have a long time waiting a reply from Guest !!!! these people only log as guests as they are too scared to say what they really think using there user name, comes down to that ugly green eyed monster again , and at the end of the day we all enter knowing the judges decision is final, Congratulations to Wiltshire man, soo pleased for you

Big well done WM and glad the ticket didn't get lost! I was thrilled with my boy and it was what I was so desperate to achieve. The only C to have ever won that class at the Royal show in its current form!!! Awesome. He gave me his all today and I love him to bits. xxx Dandelion did a foot perfect show so well done Carol. I am on cloud 9!!! And long may both reign on Cloud 9 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D For this is an unbelievable record that even the most seasoned professional producer would be shouting from the roof tops with pride. So proud of everything you have achieved.

its guest here, i don't usually come on to these site, and i don't intend to join the membership either. To clarify the placings in the small hack at the royal please see comments by someone that was in the class on page 8 of this forum. the judge did only place to 4th and then asked the rest to line up, so if you were in a bad position and went well, well basically ones not as nice or ones that went poorly were above you. Being the last show I would have thought they might have actually placed all of the line up - not just a come in and it was like pony classes scrambling for a place when they realised. I thought it was very poor, but obviously this is my opinion. I also don't think it fair to have one judge either, but again that my opinion. How a judge can remember what went badly at the beginning of the line up, when they have watched everybody go and then ride them all and do conformation is beyond me. There were some beautiful animals that went perfectly and that have been very successful also right down the line !!! thats all I am going to say on this matter.

with regard to guest 43s comment regarding claire olivers ride in the small hunter, firstly she was riding the horse for simmone cuddy it wasnt her horse, and it was really misbehaving in the collecting ring, and when it was in the go round she had to circle i dont know how many times out of the judges eye, because it was behaving terrible launching and bucking and i dont know about being placed 4th it should have been thrown out of the ring by the stewards before they even got called in!!!.
it gave the judge a shocking ride and these foreign horses with the white legs really do stand out when they misbehave, i felt that the other placings deserved to be where they were as they went well in the go round and gave the judge by the look of things a decent un complicated ride.

"I think anybody that criticises Ali Fernyhoughs judging needs to go home and think. She is still the most brilliant rider of hacks and riding horses, true expert on conformation and one of the very few straight judges." Posted on behalf of a knowledgible friend - she awaits a reply from "Guest" I totally agree. i competed with her as a child and can assure everyone that she always gets the best out of EVERYTHING she rides. When we have youngsters we wouldn't hesitate to take them out for her to sit on. Ali is a pleasure to watch, a top pony, Hack & WH jockey/producer and one of the very best. The real problem is that most who comment on this site have no idea of people's backgrounds and are far too young to even remember results ten years ago. This lady has produced so many fgood horses from scratch and is a credit to the show ring. Long may she continue to judge and allow us to have the pleasure of watching her ride and assess conformation.

Incorrect . Only one Youngstock class has been posted on the Royal Show Results site. Jerome went Champion youngstock with Colbeach pony. Stunning Holtess mare was overall Champion and Reserve in the Cuddy. Fantastic mover. Bradmore Faberge was Reserve.

As I said before this ride judge is aunable to judge horses she does favours for her old connections - you only had to see her in action at last years RIHS

This is going round in circles -
On the Royal Show topic, A hotly contested Cuddy in-hand Qualifier came and went (very, very well done, guys) but I feel I have missed it due to all the other quite unneccessary er-shall we say betchyness?
I too, grew up in ponies with Alexandra Nash. Very elegant and a cracking good rider. Who's that, most of you'll say!!!

massive CONGRATS to Fiona and Rodders , he looked and went awesome, i have not seen a pony all year that has gone better than than the performance he put on at the Royal - thoroughly deserved. His 'holiday' with his lady friends gave him even more lift in trot !!! look forward to seeing baby Rods in 2010 In a year of VERY strange judging in the HOYS qualifiers is was refreshing to see 2 lady judges that made such a great job of very difficult classes that were full of quality. I was ecstatic with an 8th on my old boy Jet who done me very proud, when i looked down the line it was the 'whos who' of ridden cobs this year. Well done Carol and Leo and esp Christopher with Ben!!!

Thank you 'Blackknight'. I was so very proud of him and he gave me a fab ride. Yes- he obviously liked his 'mini-break!' I am so excited to see the outcome(s)!!!! First time I have ever been 'broody' I can tell you!!!!!!! I felt that good shows were rewarded as Carol's was another foot perfect performance. Can't comment on the others as we were carrying out some retail therapy! Well done on your boy. Hope your C makes it to the ring next time

Miles Cooper took the first ridden and the HOYS ticket. Congratulations to Miles and all concerned, and also to Abi Dymond and Thistledown Rose of Sharon who were a cracking second. stunning stunning pony, what huge movement, what I would give to have that blown up to be a hack!
