It is entirely possible that my reliable source may not be 100% reliable. I do hope that Ben Hur was 3rd and got ticket .... well done to Wiltshire Man if that is the case !

4th was definitely Pennal The Great - it is on Shona's Facebook status !!
And my mum did seem fairly sure about 3rd, but maybe she got it wrong. They are both bays with 4 whites as I remember, so she might have just thought it was Nebo JJ but actually Ben Hur.

Large hacks were done same as small, first four in order then the rest follow on as previously lined up. Did seem a little strange as from watching closely some of the lower horses did seem to do better shows and ride better but of course unless you actually sit on all the horses whose knows what they feel like. Classes were big and ran over time so probably some time pressure as well.

M&M Ridden Championship results:
Ch - Fell (sorry dont know its name !) Res - T. Red Robin, Welsh C (well done Fiona !!) Res Res - Floreat Dandelion, Welsh D
All went beautifully, just down to judge's pref on the day as it often is in championship. Leo gave it his all in the gallop apparently !
tafsmum - just spoken to my mum again and she said she was going on the numbers announced over tannoy. And anyway, if you dont know the ponies well and you are watching a class of 26 it is very easy to think "now hang on, which bay with 4 whites is that ..." I have done it myself plenty of times !
