We had a deluge early evening but this morning it is bright and windy so hopefully ground will be good. I believe it was very slippery yesterday morning but by the afternoon it was fine as windy up there on the hill! I believe it was Victoria who had a nasty fall due to the slippery ring and also hope she is o.k. - best wishes to her for a speedy recovery. On our way now - but why are we bothering if everyone knows who will win the Olympia (I don't!) - oh well another nice day out lets just enjoy it and personally if we can't win (ha ha - pigs will fly first) then I hope someone I know does!

Crystal ball says a KJ friend could win Olympia set tomorrow 98% chance of it being an Area 20 member As it's in area 20, then yeah members should have a good chance by shear weight of numbers. And best of luck to you all! xx

just realised how close the royal, the yorkshire and kent were. I didn't attend any this year but what a shame 3 of the biggest shows had dates like these. A shame for competitors chasing major qualifiers such as the cuddy

anybody who has seen Mathew and that lovely connie this year would have to be barmy to bet against them qualifying at some point, fab pony, really well produced and ridden always - congratulations to all connections ;D I for one am really pleased for them and I've got a connie who is going to be competing against them next year, there's nothing wrong about appreciating excellence

You would be right to say not to bet against it, but not for the reasons you have stated. We all know the score, but it is wearing thin.

I'm a mere mortal too - don't think we show rubbish, if you don't want to play go and do something else, life is too short to be so bitter

He's a lovely pony who is produced to perfection and whats more top or bottom of the line Mathew is always smiling and pleasant unlike certain fellow competitors.

Shellyj, I second that. He is a lovely pony and has already won at least two other olympia qualifiers and has already got his hoys and rihs. We are also mere mortals as well who have bumbled along and managed to get rihs and hoys - it is achievable. We also wondered why people are so bitter.
