Hello!
We are looking for 3 stables for 15h cob and 2 13h traditional cobs one being entire. DIY preferred but anything would be amazing at the moment as we are in need to move the ponies to a more suitable home. Would prefer some schooling facilities and somewhere for 3.5ton lorry.
No more than 10mins away from Manchester Airport. Or full yard let would be even better!
Friendly, knowledgeable owner/rider and 3 loverly happy well behaved horses await.
Any offerings/information or advise of somewhere you might know or have somewhere yourself would be wonderful.
Please email me asap
Many thanks Laura :-)

I have a new coloured that I wanted to do some HOYS and RIHS qualifiers, but after consideration and thought just going to do some local shows along with some CHAPS, BSPS and NCPA shows/finals hopefully. His first year ever at shows never mind under saddle. Also having a two year old little boy, finding time hard to ride with the weather. But just want to really enjoy this year with out the stress of chasing tickets. (well this is what I keep telling myself haha )
best of luck everyone xx

Hiya!
I started feeding this Danny (5yrs -15h cob) before Christmas. He has x2 cups a day and is amazing on it. I must say he has perked up and full of life, but I think its because he was not on anything like this before I took him over 9weeks ago.
may be your pony is feeling well? I know Danny is of this but as my first time using this feed. I have always used Blue Chip before.
Other people may be able to help more. But I would be interesting in finding out the answer to your question also lol x

well Im in cheshire and on flat land. The lady I ride for has had to bring them all in as ground is getting to wet, guess we can't complain its december and only now is it getting really cold. Sure the worst is to come :-) I think horses are like humans, some feel the cold more than others. Hairy boy likes to come in but 27 year old section A would much prefer to be out. Bless them all x

I know we live in England and all we do (well I do) is moan about the weather but seriously come on!!!
I am NOT a fair weather rider and always think "well if I was at a show I would have to ride..." but even I this week have been battered with hail stones, wind swept by gails, rained on so much that even my new hat is leaking and my lips look like I have bright red lipstick on at work along with fillers that make me look like Pete Burns, they are so chapped!!!
But..... still I would not change it for the world and have laughed at myself the whole time, screaming at the pain and so thrilled with how the new boy has coped and just continued to keep going no matter what the weather.
Lets just hope tomorrow is a little better so we can all have a nice ride....but I some how think not
;D

Great angles and the photographers looked as if they thought about what backgrounds the pics would have. Also plenty to choose from. Always wonderful to have a fab day with a fab photo from a fab show!! Well done Equipics

Did anyone else witness the incident today- involving commentator and a competitor? In collecting ring for hoys welsh classes? We did, not sure what to think really, he was certainly very rude and probabally felt a bit bad afterwards!!!! Not sure what happened but the commentator was asking people not to work in in the collecting ring. He must of said it about a million times during the day

bit of a random one but at the same time the C's were there was a pony in the WH ring with a little girl jockey on with a Navy Skull Hat on. What a beautiful round this pony gave to its tiny jockey. I couldn't stop smiling! By a long shot does anyone know who this pony was. I had my two year old running around my leg so was unable to get details lol thanks xxx What a lovely comment! lfh1, I think you must mean Kyregate Peter Pan and Susie Eddis. They hunted over the winter and really got to know each other, and (touch wood) are having a most wonderful season. They were 2nd yesterday to a very deserving winner who went on to be supreme of show which we were delighted by. At their only other Hoys qualifier, Suffolk, Peter Pan and Susie were also 2nd in another very strong class, and they won their only RI qualifier. They have also done 3 RI First Ridden qualifiers and been 2nd, 2nd, 3rd, and they have won all but one of their Cradle Stakes, and been champion several times, including at the Winter Champs. Peter Pan really is Perfect Peter in every way and we just feel hugely lucky to have him. Thank you for your lovely comments. This was a really fabulous show with superb organisation, rings and going and as such, attracted very strong classes. I really enjoyed watching the D's out of the corner of my eye - so many gorgeous animals there yesterday and with that layout, one was able to see them where often it's not possible. What a joy the workers rings and courses were! It was a real hike for us to get there, and I may never recover, but these were PROPER courses, beautifully built, no trickery, and there was no hiding place, which ensured that the cream rose to the top! We were delighted that Philip Armson went supreme with Hanmere Showman from our class - it is great to see a worker who has won round the most testing track in the land be recognised. Delighted to see Emily Gibbard and Grange Bobbing Surf winning yet again - I always think this pony is the 14 hand version of Peter Pan in that he is ultra-reliable time and again, and they are always fabulous to watch, as they are a real partnership. And what a day for Sammy Bebbington, who I don't know, but it says a lot for a rider to jockey 2 ponies round to win round that course in that company. Full of admiration! The ponies that went well here will surely go well anywhere. The plaited worker marks were still not available at 12.45, having started at 7.30, and I too would love there to be a link making them available. Fabulous show. Long journey! Exhausted!! Just beautiful, and some fab results already this season. Oh I bet they will do fantastic around the RI course. Best of luck, such a joy to see a child smiling and enjoying everything so much. Loved it!! xx

At their only other Hoys qualifier, Suffolk, Peter Pan and Susie were also 2nd in another very strong class, and they won their only RI qualifier. This fantastic combination gave us all something to smile about as we were getting drenched in the HOYS C class. My husband, who is first whip with our hunt, said "That child has definitely been hunting; she had better come and whip in next season, we could do with another whip!" It was a joy to watch them, and they made us feel a bit feeble complaining about the weather in a flat ridden class. Tell her she made our day x Linzy I didn't even talk to you about this pony we didn't get time. Im so glad you both saw him. They both have some more fans now. Freddie loved him xx
