Was Chirk Caviar not a 148 or am I getting my Chirks mixed up (age thing again!)

Chirk Caviar was a 14.2 sp my tops are Oakley blue breeze, Rotherwood snap happy, sinton vagabond all 12.2 13.2 Holly of spring, lechlade violet,whalton burning bright, cygnet of spring. cusop heirees and Hamanory

my sister , it will either be from Windsor in the pouring rain ( we were the first pony to beat the great Blagdon Gaytime ) or it will be from the Royal at full gallop we have a painting of that ta

Oh the small hunter peter richmond used to show - Smallprint, he had a walk and gallop to die for! and obviously the trot and his face and his bottom etc etc etc!!(of the horse of course). The cob Super Ted - so handsome. And at the moment Dutch Dame xxxxxx gorge!!!

Just reading through all your posts...................I loved Lechlade Violet,Blagdon Gaytime and Gunnerby Aalborg Elegant Was just stunning I saw her go down the spotlight at HOYS ( or was it RIHS, age catching up again )!!!! Isn't it lovely to be reminded of ponies from the past

ahh the "pinkpony" what a fab walk she had it was ted Jackson who brought her out as a novice as that other lovely 12.2 Ocean so fair

Ocean So Fair was just beautiful,1 spotlight moment that I will never forget was not a SP but a hack and it was Alistair Hood on Brown Buzzard ,that was a spine tingler for me!

I have to say one of my top ponies was "Plumpton Mountain Spring".
A wonderful first ridden / lead rein pony who would look after the smallest of jockey's .
Mind, get her in the ring now and she would look out of place aginst the finer show ponies now - how times have changed!

14.2 SP Royal Bronze. INT SHP/Small Hunter Baileys Over Ice- moved on air! LW HUNTER- Mr McEvoy (when it was on form!) Modern day fav is Finn Mcool! 14h SHP- Touch of The Tobies, Sion Brion, or Scottish Quest! (Can't decide!) Modern SHP's don't have the bone and substance that these had! COBS- Super Ted! (Had such an amazing record!) Modern day fav cobs would be So Smart and Keystone Cob for HW's and Casanova and Tommy Tucker for LW's. WHP- Mytilene. Modern day fav is Freckleton Maximus, and for horse workers Libby Cooke's brown horse! (Can't remember its name!!) Or Out Of Sight! RIDING HORSE- Broadstone Doulton, or modern day Philanderer and Sirius.

From the past fav 12.2 sp Trelawn imperial mint and Trelawn royal mint Walter was destined to come our way to come out under saddle but my mother wouldn't let me have him as we were rather 'full' at the time! I never let her forget how successful he became under saddle- a lovely pony.

Has to be Stambrook Pavarotti for the workers, not only for the fact that he is still going but also has won EVERYTHING at some point from Blue Riband SHP champion to Desert Orchid champion twice, RIHS champion 3 times, HOYS champion, Disney Supreme... and now showing a 9 year old girl the ropes as he did me
