Wasn't Toy Grenadier by Glenfield Toy Soldier?
grenie was by Toy soldier and was the most fantastic pony he topped the WPCS performance many times and was brilliant off the lorry and into the ring and won M&M lead reins and first riddens aswell as plaited ,,,
Cottage fair was as you say ..
I am so thinking of getting back into horses/ponies full time again ,,, just need to find the job ....lololol

Saw Georgia and Ali a couple of seasons ago at Ardingly eventing- both instantly recognisable and had a great catch up! Georgia was one of the greatest jockeys to swing a leg over a show pony and made evrything she rode look special.

Lennel Strolling Minstrel left some fantastic stock and most lead rein/first ridden ponies have Orielton Aristocrat in their lines he was simply spectacular at producing top class ponies but was never seen in the ring.

Overtdaknee and summer1 totally agree about Georgia Bale she was a lovely little girl and they were a really nice family. Georgia could certinaly have taught any child the meaning of true showmanship. Even when she was not at the top of the line(which was not very often!) she was always smiling and always was the first to congratulate the child who beat her. I loved her gorgeous Peryyditch Temerity. she was a lovely pony to look after and I even had the pleasure of hacking her out (in my skinny younger days!) She never fliched at anything, a real child's pony! Brings back memories to her people talking about Sussex, such a beautifull county, nearly as nice as Suffolk! (he he)

What a small world, I also spent a summer with Mrs Colledge at Oakley when she was at Abinger Common. Bounce (Oakley Bubbling Spring) was still around alongside Fun and a chestnut 2 year old by Wingrove Minkino that broke mrs Colledges arm while she was leading him!! Mares were Royston Royal freeway, Lucy, Babys Fun, jezebel and keston julietta. Fortunately i was there the year after Robert Cockram so i was lucky enough to come away with O Royal Pet, which I believe was one Sandbourne Royal Ensigns first crop!!!! God showing my age now!!!! I was also fortunate to be a neighbour of willy (Richard) Deptford before his move to Scotland and had his ponies on my yard at times including Gems Amethyst, Pearl, Laurel of Spring, First day of spring and Penhill Finola along with several youngsters I still love my rps above all others, and consider myself very fortunate to have had a grounding with some top quality ponies.

Awwww, my friend has Royston Royal Freeway plus her daughter and grand-daughter! She is getting on a bit now but still up for a hack down the road, lovely pony and a very kind temperament.
We had Berberis of Spring from Richard via Joan and Harold Franklin- now I am showing my age!!
