If people would like to do their predictions anonymously then: (a) it may be more fun as you can't go by someone else's favourite; and (b) no-one can accuse you of jinxing your favourite (or whoever you think is the judge's favourite) PM one of the mods if you wish to take up that option and we will have a thread in the mod area which we will move into the Lounge AFTER HOYS

Roseberry Highland Fling for Small SRT (my mum thinks Valentino's Royal Touch) I do love the Small of Hollings but its a lot to ask for a first time, will be one to watch though as its beautiful. SHT Colorado, amazing little horse. Good Luck everybody, its not the winning, its the taking part!!! ;D Although winning is good hehe

what about the home produced little mare CEFFYL-LLWYD SNOWDROP m@m lead rein, she has consistently been placed and won quiet a few shows this year, she has been to HOYS 3 times each time being placed, the highest being 3rd with 2 producers above her, she is looking better this year than ever and imo if she goes well as she normally does she must be a strong contender, i would like to wish kathryn and mia and snowy lots for luck for the 7th oct

If I remember the ride judge for hunters did or even does not go a bundle on Finn McCool which is a terrible shame as I adore the horse but as we all know the judges decision is final.!!!

Would love to see The Keystone Cob win, think he really deserves it. I'd also like to see Royal Angel do well in the hacks - simply stunning at the Nat Champs and went just how a hack should...

I heard yesterday that Colorado has been measured out and can not compete. Does anybody know if this is actually the case or is it just one of those Pre HOYS rumours?

I heard yesterday that Colorado has been measured out and can not compete. Does anybody know if this is actually the case or is it just one of those Pre HOYS rumours? Hi I would just like to clear up any rumours before they start i am the owner of colorado and he has not been measured out, but all i want to say is that he is a 9yr old and has been competeing for years, but somebody has lodged an objection against him to try and stop him competing at hoys!! I think it is a very nasty trick to do such a thing with only weeks to go, it is obviously because he is a threat to there own horse and to give there own horse a chance eliminate mine, it has cost a lot of time and money to qualify, and i am devastated that somebody could stoop to this level, i hope that this low life has no further luck with their showing career if they have to go to this extreme, its absolutly disgracefull.

Edward, I am so pleased to hear this!!!! I was looking forward to watching him at HOYS and was very dissapointed when I heard this rumour yesterday. I totally think it is such a shame when fellow competitors do this and I am sorry that somebody has done this to you. I hope to see your beautiful horse kick some butt at HOYS!! Good Luck ;D

Pentrepiod the Judge - the best mover / type to go through this year. I have noticed he has been a little inconsistent this season and has had a couple of blips. Heres hoping he is a good boy for Hoys and gets his win, Good luck to Judge and his Mum (sorry dont know your name)
