Did anyone see the programme last night, supersize vx. superskinny, really good programme, but why I ask is that they tested some shoes that shrink your bum!!! They are called MBT (masai barefoot technology) and they are supposed to exercise your thigh and bum muscles as you walk! They came out really well in their tests, one lady lost 4" off her behind.
Anyone heard of them? Or got any? I have looked on ebay and Google and they are above £100, so any opinions appreciated!

Just cooked a nice warm salad starter a very healthy chicken pasta bake and then ruined it by fried chips. I'm never going to be a size 0 model the only shape I seem to be maintaining is round.

Hmm just a tad, still, sidesaddle riders manage perfectly well with just the one! Then I might weigh what those charts say I should weigh for how tall I am! Can't seem to get out of the orange bit!!!

Confessions: Birthday yesterday -
Macdonalds saturday teatime: Chicken legend with mayo, fries, onion dippers with sour cream and chive dip.
Birthday meal - Italian: Breaded deep fried mushrooms swimming in garlic butter. Chicken and Beef kebab with deepfried potato wedges. Son's leftover garlic bread. Son's left over pizza. Profiteroles with cream and chocolate sauce. Son's leftover ice cream sundae.
This morning: made smallest son nutella on white toast for breakfast. He took one bite - didn't like. Well it was just sitting there looking at me . . . . . . .

Can someone give me some recipe ideas for healthy evening meals on a budget. I really want to lose some weight before winter champs but my 'low fat' evening meals consist of me eating porridge or pasta prob not best for losing weight!! I don't want stuff that takes to long to cook and not to expensive as i am very much living off a budget in london! anyone any ideas?

Shepherds pie made with steak mince, with swede or butternut squash topping instead of potato. Bolognese with steak mince, mushrooms, onions, chopped tinned tomatoes, chopped bacon. Served with pasta or jacket potato.
Veggie option - parboiled sliced potatoes, layered with onions fried in fry-light, and a mixture of low fat cottage cheese and beaten eggs, all baked off in the oven. Takes a while but you can eat it cold the next day!!
If you have a slow cooker or an oven with a timer, you could make a casserole with baby new potatoes, diced stewing beef, carrots, mushrooms, onions, red pepper, and covered with stock made from bovril. Leave in the oven for 2-3 hours on a low heat. Make enough for 2 nights!
A quick low fat veggie one is pasta drained and add some Laughing Cow light cheese spread, and quorn fillets chopped up, the vine tomato ones are nice. Or Passata, some herbs and quorn pieces.
