Count me in - am now off the wine and crisps, no bread after breakfast, salads for lunch in work or just veggies and gravy. Have to say I am doing my own salads after finding something unmentionable in work salad last week Good luck Overbent

true, in fact we could be depriving ourselves of vital nutrition and health benefits by giving up wine - maybe need to drink it by the glass rather than the bottle though.....

It's the fat pixies (commonly known as children/OH) - their mission in life is to tempt you to eat and drink more than you should. Have also thought how unfair it would be to leave wine in the bottle ovenight - it might evaporate and that would be a sad thing

now am scared I live on my own I know what happens people put them in my trolley while shopping and dont want to cause a fuss at the check out so I keep them lol. I have just rolled them across the floor am on my six foot beanbag with a glass of wine in one hand, and am to lazy to pick them up have made a huge grap every now and then

Think of the grabs for the pringles as exercise - as a reward you have wine and potentially after much practise you will be rewarded by pringles!

lol thats is a fantasic idea if I get them I get three then have to roll them away again. Have just found a flaw in thowing them, just got to take washing out of machine and found them again.

Pringles are the work of the Devil!!! Turn the tub upside down, there's three sixes on the bottom.
Count me in you lot, have just gone back on my diet after the Xmas excesses, I do Slimming World, at the moment my motivation is the £4.50 it costs me every week - can't see the point in parting with the cash and then not sticking to the diet!
My tip to everyone - the old one that a LITTLE of what you fancy does you good! Maybe promise yourself a litle treat if you're good till friday, that sort of thing. Find if you make yourself miserable doing it you're more likely to say sod it and eat a whole packet of chocolate biccies.

Oh my goodness overbent where did you put that lot!!!!!
Went out for a meal last night with the intention of being really good, failed miserably. Wasn't so much the pate and toast as the thick layer of real butter inbetween!! followed by Minted Lamb Shank, which was gorgeous, with jacket potato (sorry real butter lots of again). And cauliflower cheese. Was feeling strong and decided against a sweet. Until I saw the menu. Ice cream with chocolate sauce and a shot of Baileys poured over the top.
Was scrummy. And worth it.
Oh Well! Back on the wagon this morning!

Have just thought about this - we could have a diet confessional! Come on and confess your sins, be absolved of them and start off with a clean sheet. Think I might be on here quite often!!!!!

I'm all for a bit of weight lose I need to shed a few tone, OH said I'm built for comfort not speed I would still rather look like a fit racehorse than a weight carrying cob. It's a great idea having to confess our indiscretions a bit like going to confessional and the last time I went there I had to take sandwiches and a flask, the priest said it would be quicker to tell him what I hadn't done and get absolution on the rest

Well, a glass of wine is about 6 sins I think. And you're allowed 10 sins a day!! but you can save them up and have them all on a Friday night!
And are you telling me you would eat just one pringle? And then put the lid back on and leave them alone?
No, me neither!!!!
