Havent posted on this thread before but have been avidly logging on on the hour all day, I was out the office all day yesterday and had a call from my totally non horsey boss to ask if i could log on my mobile as she was wonderring about the foals!
Hopefully this weekend i cant have another week of not getting any work done!! xx

We had intruders on the farm in the middle of the night and while husband was out checking, I logged here to see if foals born!!!

The wax has changed colour now so looking far more promising!!! is she actually losing white milk now??? i would think at a guess she will pop in the next 24 hours. god i hope so for anotherdeal and everyone elses sake, we are all there with you in spirit .xxx

Well, from pics, we are getting there but still maybe not just yet Are you taking a little fluid into the palm of your hand each morning and night? If so has it now gone from clear sticky to opaque? If so, check again tonight.....it may have gone from opaque to proper milk if so, chances are she will foal tonight. Looking at her vulva though.....not really elongated and relaxed The vulval lips should appear puffy/swollen/much longer. The anus and vulva seem pushed out slightly ie level with her buttocks and the tail dock, also becomes more relaxed All the above can happen within a few hours......so just a matter of keep on watching......poor you!! Methinks she is more likely (from the pics) to go another day, maybe two........but not a guarantee Mare will get on with it when she is ready Well as and when these kids decide to put in an appearance they will have already become famous with the A/L media interest Both with our own and Visiting foaling mares we have witnessed very many foals being born......and still always feel that same excitement, seeing yet another miracle unfold before our eyes Keep us posted please.....try and get a good sleep before tonight Hugs xxxxx Babs www.SunrayAngloAngloArabianStud.co.uk |

New to HG found this story today hope it all works out for you, you must have so many emotions going on and be so tired she must have them soon good luck will have a look in the morning to see how you are getting on. havent checked this thread for 24 hours, was convinced I was going to read about a happy birth tonight, just cant believe its still ongoing, this is worse than any soap opera waiting for that final moment !!!! Trying to think of a suitable title for the ongoing episodes ..... taking from exisiting titles
Neighbours, Eastenders, Emmerdale (dont watch any of these but spent a week looking after my mum after a bunion operation who watches them all religiously) and then my own personal favourite Desparate Housewives
So here are some ideas .....Doubleneighbours ..... Twinssaga ..... Double Enders ... double dilema ..... double stressout..... twindale, twinbeginnings, twinbours ....
.... desparate please hurry up foals ...... desparate for twins to come on .....
