afternoon all
Right to cut a very long story short I can not prove ( without expensive DNA going to belgiam) that my new horse is not who we thought he was.... so he can keep his stable name however i need a new show name for him for the SHB to issue me a basic passport... suggestions please ( no rude ones!!!! ) xx
he is the bay in my signature xx

LOL stalight.. he isnot a "she" LOL
SAgey.. apprently this mare had a "nap" and has been known to spin in the road.. apprently the last home were a load of numpty's and allowed her to take the "p*ss" shame as she is perfect in any other way.. I am sure you could get her out of it with one good telling off.. but your friend might not want to.. hence why she is cheap....
SL will think of names...

That's a shame dazy, at least your friend is an honest seller. No I couldn't sort it, complete wimp, pathetic creature I am. Hence I have winde up ponies. She wants to have Dior, but I don't want to give him over now I have turned him into a zombie. My instructor wants to take him galloping round the field to "open his mind", it is still under discussion. There is one positive about the hard ground.
Unfortunately, although she is a very good rider, the horse she had (which she has put on loan) really did finish her off. Unfortunately she tried desperately to make it work, always blamed herself and left it one fall too many before rehoming him.

I bought a nappy bugger a few years ago.The seller said it very rarely napped and wasnt scary at all and would be easy to sort out!!!! It was one of the most evil ponies I have ever ridden . I thought I was quite brave but this sod made me realise I wasn't . After 4 weeks I sold it, advertised it and was 100% honest about it and my phone never stopped ringing as it was cheap and a good looking coloured mare. First girl that tired it came from Buckinghamshire ( Im in Devon ) took her 6 hours to get here, within 5 minutes it had dumped her then turned round and kicked her while she was on the floor!!!!! 2nd girl that tried her, it napped at the end of my drive so she belted it and it took off like a rocket down the main road towards Exeter absolutely flat out!!!!!!! When she managed to stop and turn it back round towards home it napped again so she wacked it again and it bolted back up the road and straight past my place!! She bought it but sold it on again after a year.

Sagey.. my pal is an honest seller... thats why last night she said.. forget it... Saying that, If I had ridden a bit more in the last year I would get on and sort the bugger out.. LOL.. real shame as its a good sort.. jsut been let to get away with things..
Stalightlight.. waht about "the great pretender" for a show name.. LOL LOL LOL

Good luck Cheetam . We are out on sunday to a little show down the road from us , takes less than 5 minutes to get there as its on the same road as us . Just a nice fun unaffiliated show where we spend more time chatting than we do showing really . Anyone got any tips on how to stop a 36 inch shettie escaping under my leccy fence she is not impressed being on restricted grazing and just dives under the lowest strand even though the energiser is on . I think i may have to start getting them in at night but dont really want to as Nutmeg dosnt like being in really . She is good as gold when the other shettie pickles escapes and dosnt follow her . Also only got one large stable would have to put a rail across to devide it as Nutmeg tried to corner pickles and kick her the other day . It was the first day i put them together though so they may settle down . What is everyone else upto at the weekend ?

morning all.. good luck to anyone showing this weekend... Here is my old girl. Cheetham, she is 15 now and I had her since she was 7 weeks.. she was my foundation bit*h. bless her, she has never given me any grief.. she was the best behaved puppy I have ever had and far to good to ever chew or mess in the house... She is a very quiet girl and always has been unlike her off spring... she didnt eat a thing yesterday, has turned her nose up at sardines this morning, so doing some scambled egg and cheese... will go and buy her some chicken later.... I know she has had a fantastic life, but its still so hard to know when...
