WOW just saw on TSR that The Humdinger got 100/100 could i just ask how what does 100/100 mean Marks are out of 60 for ride and 40 for conformation. The Humdinger got full marks. To clarify for Ernie too - people were referring to The Show Ring forum when they mentioned having read the marks for Dinger - a bit confusing when the Show Register is around too, but the Show Ring has been around longer and people are used to referring to it as TSR Edited to alter breakdown of marks - I think it may be 60/40 for coloureds?? Anyone able to confirm?

Congrats to all the coloured winners and an extra special well done to Sammi Elliott for her super cool ride in the championship to get Reserve Champion - well done James and Clare - a great result.
And ...so I might be biased and all jump on this if you will, but surely CHANTILLY LACE IV must be the most unlucky and beautiful pony not to win HOYS. A 3rd and Three seconds in a row now? Won most other major titles and rarely beaten except at HOYS. Four mannerly performances there, and surely she didn't deserve 10 marks less for show than this years winner! No bad feelings - the winner is a very good pony and I always accept the judges decision because thats what showing is all about - but can't help feeling she has not had the best of luck in the arena that matters most! Does anyone agree?
The champion was absolutely superb and I am sure a horse evryone would love to own - well done.

Chantilly Lace is a wonderful pony to watch, and whilst i unfortunately wasnt at HOYS yesty, if her previous performances are anything to go by, surely at some point she has to go up the line one!!! Really really thrilled that BRookfarm Heaven Scent came up from a 2nd to receive the Reserve CHampion, And a huge well done to all connections of Buffy, what a horse!!

Yes I think most people would agree she has been unlucky not to win (but clearly very consistent), at least every year she has something higher to aim for that season, it never looks good when previous winners are placed down the line (or not at all in some cases). For the last 3 HOYS we have expected her to win and been disappointed that she hasn't. I have to admit I am shocked that she got 10 marks less than the winner for the ride! But each to their own eh?

I was shocked at the NCT pony results; that Chantilly didn't win, thought she had it in the bag. Massive congrats to Kerrie and Laurie you both deserve it so much - 3rd time lucky!!
