did anyone go to Midland Counties last year, if so can they tell me whether they have moved the M&M ring from the previous year when it was really small and on a slope?

Mrs Bown seems to like Connemaras and Highlands. A very fair judge.

Mrs Bown can't be at all facey as this pony is home produced by Kirsty & daughter Hannah Faulkener from Lincolnshire so new faces & new pony so good luck to them all. A liver chestnut Highland gelding.

A liver chestnut Highland gelding. I'm really sorry i wasn't trying to say that the judging was facey. I was just wondering who and what it was because I'm trying to find out about as many highlands as possible because i have one this year and i have ridden and shown alot of things but i haven't a clue about highlands so i thought i need to know my opponents. Sorry if it sounds bit*hy i wasn't trying to be.

I wasn't having a go at you at all "sorry". Just meant in general that she can't be facey as the people & pony are new & not as well known as lots of others. Sorry if you took my comment the wrong way.Wasn't aimed at you at all.

Section B champion was a barren mare, think shown by the Linksbury stud, and what amover, she was fabulous. Res was Stoak Tuscany. Paddock won the 2/3 year old filly and Thistledown won the yearling colt or folly i think.

HIghland was very nice, I was stumped at first as have never seen a liver chestnut highland! He is very smart and went well. I thought the one in 2nd originally was a lovely fell pony but sadly dropped. ETA Kerry Wainwrights connie deserved his qualifier, a very beautiful pony, credit to all concerned with him

Yes it is the stallion (Harrison maybe?) ridden by Victoria Hesford. B/C was bobby Brights C, Waxwing Rheel I think. D was Drumacre Lloer Solo (looked very good) A's I assume was Myddytarren the Maverick (not sure on spelling) and he was reserve champion.

Simon Bigley champion with a stallion, Avonvalley reserve.
