Again well done Lexy and looking at the results Stan was the highest placed Sports Pony of the day and Reserve High Score of the all the Dressage Yearlings including the horses, brilliant.
bizzylizzie congratulations on your 1st Premium, can I ask which Sports Pony was yours? When you look at the results you can see how close the marks are and I know when I went last year with our yearling I felt she needed just a little more time to settle and for the tension to go, but of course you only get a few mins and no second chance!
Brilliant well done to both of you.
Edited - the Evaluators were listed as Mark Shaw, Katy Holder-Vale & Caroline Cherry. The Vet was Jane Nixon.

Gosh, I hadn't seen the results up! So thrilled. I bred his sire too, Floreat Dandelion if anyone is interested. Lexy has put a marker down to ride Stan when he is old enough and has done most of the work on him. We must find out if he jumps, I expect so.

Thats great! I am sure he will jump, knowing the family especially the sire's side which all jump. hazel - I know what you mean about a bit of tension and not showing off to their best. The evaluators said that his trot was a bit quick and not showing enough suspension. And then when we turned him out with 3 other colts/stallions when we got home he was showing all the suspension you could ask for! But I suppose it is same for all of them. He got 8.75 for his attitude, describing him as "Sensible and workmanlike" Lexy

Fab photos!!!!!! Any pics of Dark Secret Bizzylizzie? Any chance of both ponies coming to the SPSS? It would be fantastic to see some new faces!!!!!!! His pictures are on the Greenlees - equine website, he was no 38 a dark grey. Would we be eligible for the SPSS premium? He is a gelding so he won't be graded obviously but neither of his parents are SPSS approved? I'm not that familiar with SPSS rules.

Bizzylizzie you had better be delighted with 8.21 as it's the same score we got last year with our yearling and we were thrilled!!!!!!!!!!! ;D. The photos are on line now www.greenlees-equine.com/gallery.htmlShame you can't make the SPSS Sarahp. Your photos you've posted are super. At the SPSS they read out all the breeding and achievements of the pony, sire & dam and it does count.

Believe me Hazel i was chuffed! I was very nervous taking a pure bred native and worried we would look out of place. Not too mention the whole idea of plaiting & trimming!!!
If i have not sold him i will probably have another go next year as he needs to fill out alot a the moment, and i will have to find an indoor school to practice the loose bit to really show him off better.
I was so chuffed that we did the 2&1/4 hr journey safely both ways as i had to get him ready and load on my own and was meeting I disagreeistant, who lives down that way, at the venue.

I also have a 2yr old filly by a SPSS graded stallion (Marchell One and Only, by Erwfforch Dewin Direudus). So it would be interesting to take her maybe too. If not this year, maybe we will bring them both another year.

Everyone is doing so well this year so far!! I took my 2 year old colt by T- Movistar to Catherston and we gained a First Premium too!!! His trot was super but he would barely canter so they struggled to mark him on this...he's too laid back to blast around like a lunatic....bit more of a donkey really!!! I was thrilled to pieces with his attitude and how well he took it all in his stride, couldn't have asked for much more from him. Here he is strutting his stuff...

Thanks holiday and Lovepink. I am so pleased with him. He is the first warmblood I have bred so I took him to the Futuritys to get an idea of how he compares to others...I am very pleased!!
Sarah, I truly hope that Violets taste in men has changed and that she decides that any male is better than none at all!!! Keeping everything crossed for you, as always xxxx The last Futurity date is today in Sussex. Maybe we could get Velvet to one next year? Or mummy and foal next year??!!! Will keep an eye out for the next lot of dates, though entries usually open the 1st June that year xxxx

Very wise idea!! I am new to the warmblood world so I have no idea about 'gradings'. I assume they would be similar to the Futurity, apart from Iassume you would need to grade with the Stud book that you are registered with? Maybe someone on here can make us both a bit wiser!!!! (hard task!!) xxx

I will give Holiday a nudge as she took 3 at the weekend to a Studbook Grading Zfdp, not sure I've got that right and will edit it when Holiday corrects me! Holiday did so well with her youngstock. She did say I could have taken this year's foal Antsar Double Delight, who is by FS Dr Watson (FS Don't Worry x Moetryfan Misty Lady) out of our PBA Antsar Maria (Pickmere Kismet x Antsar Saffia) but I didn't as I have gone with the WPCS for her passport - a lot cheaper!
