No, doubt this pony has ever got his hooves dirty. The dressage pony on the cover page of the dressage ponies section on horsequest. I like him and I have a good budget but it is not £50K!!!

Yes if you are wondering whether you are require anything at all and whether you will have to pay, the answer is always Yes! C Pepper hasn't done any dressage since 2007, looked him up and all bar one point is at Novice. So done loads of classes at the same level if you know what I mean.

Vet should always scan him for a microchip anyway starlight. Whatever they say get the vet to scan to double check. If he isn't chipped and he passes the vet, ask the vet to chip him there and then and it will save you a call out.

I thought you only had to be a BSPS member if you wanted to do RIHS and you where going to the BSPS champs If you do need to join its the owner pony and jockey , im sure you dont need a height cert unless you qualify for Hoys and maybe for BSPS champs ] . My daughter did county level M&M lead rein last year and we were BSPS members but only because we did RIHS , we didnt need a height cert and we went to NPS and Equifest and did a few hoys classes . This year only bothering with NPS as staying more local as daughter just of lead but if my daughter is riding well enough she may do a couple of Hoys classes as you only have to be a member of one of the societys . You need to be a showing member of NPS it cost £55 . Best of luck and make sure you enjoy it as some take it very seriously

starlight you dont have to be a bsps member you can enter the qualifiers and if you get one then you have (i think)14 days to become a member and get your height cert...that way you can see how you go before laying out all of the expense ..also try the new bsps brightstar??classes these are for non-members to give a taster

You need to be a member for the RIHS qualifiers or lose the qualifier if you win as i remember a mad rush to get the membership done and you have to send a copy of the jockeys birth cert to prove they are the correct age .
