He didn't say he was gonna necessarily not give it to a face he just said he would give everyone the same chance but cant gurantee he will favour yours. You putting that is trying to sway him off a producer which can be just as damaging as mentioning horses names. I'm not a producer before you ask and no i'm not going.
Just respect whatever horse he picks as i'm sure it will be the the best pony on the day face or not.

Russell won't be influenced by this site, will do a good job and enjoy his day at Solihull. He's the sort of guy who always does. May his favourite pony win and do him proud at Olympia.

There was some strange Judging going on today...Vicky Hesford's gorgeous connie stallion should have walked the class, and what happened to castle hill flash?? He was called in top, did a super show, and was dropped to 2nd for no reason- very hard done by i thought. As was Lizzie Briant's Fell...went brilliantly and should have been up there next to Flash. Funny to see R.S judging Lucy Craven, having groomed for her at Olympia this year....??...perhaps he is due for an eye test...

i am not connected to him in anyway and, no, i didn't win my class under him.

The original top place pony in the c/b class that ended up second should have not been in the ring surely. Even if it did enter the ring RS should have asked it to leave and not judge it. Just shows the stamp of some people.

Please be careful when you insinuate rules are being broken.
If the rider of the B did have RS groom for her last year, then I dont believe there's any rule that states this is not allowed (unless RS received money for this and was hence 'employed'!).
I'm not saying that this situation, were it true, be morally acceptable, but at the end of the day the pony didn't even win its class so no great travesity has taken place has it?!

'god' what do you mean?

Dont think anyone has said any rules have been broken. Not that I can see anyway. Fact remains that there are strong connections and I think most people would have either not entered or most judges would have said please dont enter as the position would look iffy.

I also thought some of the judging was strange. No disrespect to anyone in the connie class but the 2nd place connie shone and IMHO won the class hands down. Same in the Hairy class the top placed Dales should not have been dropped. That is my view on the matter before the idiots that come on here slate me for it.

I think people tend to forget that ponies can be put down (or not up) because judges find something about their conformation, type or action which doesn't totally please them, when they see them close up, as oppose to just the show affecting their final pacing.
